I was looking for a CF gym with a good location (5 min from work), various classes & times (even some virtual/at home), adequate amenities (2 bathrooms, 2 showers, refrigerator, drinks for sale), coaches that will engage with you (shout out to Ashley G), and friendly athletes who will support you on your fitness journey. I've been a crossfitter since 2017 and have seen multiple gyms. Upon walking in, I was greeted and introduced to a number of people, a simple gesture that made me feel more than welcome. I've only been here a month but I hope to make this my Phoenix CrossFit home.

I joined Wildfire CrossFit two weeks ago and I already feel a real impact and positive change. The community here is amazing, everyone is friendly, supportive, and also competitive in a way that pushes me to do better. The coaches really pay attention to make sure we’re doing the movements correctly, which makes me feel both safe and confident. I love the energy in every class and I’m happy to be part of this community. Highly recommend!

This is the best Crossfit gym I have ever been to - the coaches and owners have done a great job creating a welcoming environment and the friends I have created whilst working out are lifelong and help keep me accountable. If you've been contemplating starting crossfit, Wildfire is the perfect place to get started.

I’ll start with the good here, the coaches are very friendly and encouraging and the other members are also lovely. That’s why I wanted to join initially and they even gave me a free trial period!

This gym was pretty far from me about 25 minutes but I still made the trip 3x a week because of how friendly everyone is and what an awesome workout I had.

Unfortunately, I had a family emergency and couldn’t attend one month but one of the owners Tiffany was so understanding and kind and offered me credits for the rest of the year - so awesome! Tiffany along with the other coaches are amazing and gives such great pointers during classes.

I experienced a totally different energy when I approached Tiffany’s husband to cancel (also an owner). Mind you you have to approach a coach to cancel which doesn’t make any sense. Especially when I felt like I was met with aggression and the whole interaction was extremely uncomfortable given his tone and attitude towards me.

I wanted to cancel because I was moving farther away and didn’t want to drive 30+ minutes with these gas prices. Totally understandable but no I felt I was berated by him when he told me I’d regret it, I’m making a mistake, I don’t understand the premise of CrossFit and I’m totally missing the point. His opinion was completely unnecessary regarding my choice to cancel and I don’t see myself ever returning to use my credits due to this unnecessarily aggressive interaction.

Ultimately, my review would’ve been 5 stars if I didn’t have such a bad time canceling. Really would’ve thought that one of the owners would hold themselves to a higher standard of behavior.

It’s unfortunate because outside of this interaction I feel like they really care about their members you’re not just a number or dollar signs. I think that’s where his heart was but it doesn’t give anyone the right to express themselves the way he did there are many other ways to tell someone you’re disappointed to see them cancel and hope to see them...

First off just let me say my father was a competitive/ professional weight lifter and as such he has always been very specific about form and technique. That being said, when I first began CrossFit he was concerned that I would be joining a "box" that was "all competition without care for safety ". Needless to say, his fears regarding WildFire were misconstrued.

The coaches at WildFire take every care to ensure safety and form. This isn't to say that they go "easy" on you...these coaches will push you to your utmost potential as you evolve towards your fitness goals. Whether those goals are to compete, lose weight, gain muscle, or just get healthy, they provide the tools and motivation to help you do your best.

One thing that my husband and I value more than anything about WildFire is the community. It is one big happy family. One concern I had before starting was that it would be clicky or that people would be judgemental. Not here! We were warmly welcomed by all...in fact first timers normally receive applause :) Ever since, we have been part of the WildFire family and have made lasting friendships with other positive people.

The gym is very kid friendly...our daughter runs to the door every morning after breakfast so excited to head over to CrossFit. There is an enclosed kid area to side where she can be seen and play.

Like I said I could go on on how fabulous WildFire's community and coaches are but to wrap it up let me just say that as a result of WildFire CrossFit I have lost 10% of stubborn post baby fat and have made huge gains in my fitness level. Such as increasing my deadlift by 25lbs in just three weeks! Not to mention being able to run again without stopping every two seconds...

Great box, fabulous coaches, amazing people, and...

I have been doing crossfit for 7 years. I have been a member of a handful of gyms in the valley and my work travel has allowed me to drop in to over 100 different boxes around the world. Being an athlete my whole life, I'm looking to stay fit, agile and injury free as long as I possibly can. This requires proper technique in all fitness endeavors. This focus has me looking for 3 essential components in a box: the programing is varied and challenging, the coaching staff is knowledgeable and able to teach proper technique to ALL athletes, the clientele provides an accountable and challenging fitness enviornment. I would say that Wildfire does most these pretty well. Particularly the coach Jeff, who works mornings on a Tuesday and Thursdays. He is an exceptional coach, always professional, attentive to ALL participants, highly knowledgeable about biomechanics and concise in his ability to teach all skills properly. I make it a point to attend his classes. I haven't had the opportunity to experience every coach on the roster, but some coaches need some work. This box is very popular, and many of the classes are booked beyond capicity. Given the caliber of the athlete in attendance, there is not enough equipment to service the clientele in a class. Most notably, GHDs, operable boxes, rings and rowers. Generally, this is one of the better boxes in the valley that has survived a challenging and unprecedented time of the ongoing endemic. I have been a member for...
