Ordered a ham from them on Wednesday night, got a call from them on Thursday morning that it was ready for pickup at the Pinecrest location (I am local in Miami, where their stores are). Went to the location and was greeted warmly by Andres. He quickly brought my order (packaged nicely in a branded, insulated bag) and also offered a brief overview of the shop and its offerings (since this was my first purchase from them). They carry (or can obtain by special order) a number of uncommon cuts and products, so any foodies our there would do well do cultivate a relationship with these folks. I look forward to becoming a more frequent customer of theirs, as my first experience with them was pleasantly impressive and has made me want to go back. This is miles away from the level of attention and service at the typical supermarket (where, more often than not, trying to speak with someone from the meat department seems like you're inconveniencing them...

I tried the text line, sent an email, called the 877 number and NOTHING!!!! Called again at 9 am this morning and I could not be connected to a store. The customer service agent is being outsourced from another country and has no idea what is going on and when and IF my orders will arrive today, a day late! Were my turkeys sitting in the back of someones car overnight? The order status has said Out For Delivery since yesterday. This is so unprofessional and I expected better from a company who has so many locations. I cannot even place a call to the 2 local stores in my area, they keep getting rerouted. Spoke to them via phone and they assured us it would ship that day and be delivered overnight. Was not delivered on time and they claimed they cannot provide reimbursement because they’re not responsible for a shipment delay….for a refrigerated product that makes no sense….Stuck with over 300 dollars of meat delivered after the date of the event for which it was needed. And in addition had to buy meat the day of the event, doubling my cost…The issue was the never shipped by the original date they had promised, and that was the reason for the delay, despite speaking to them and them assuring us it would be here on time.
