My husband & I arrived to Florida around our birthday month last year and decided to use our birthday coupons to get a free smoothie. The manager was so rude she didn't want to honor the coupon for a medium and said it was for a small I told her it's states a medium on the coupon she replied: " I know what I am doing I've worked here a long time.'" After arguing with me she honored it. I didn't learn my lesson and went back recently for our birthdays again with our coupons. The manager did not want to honor them she raised her hands up to us, told us to hold on! so she could figure out the coupons. I pointed out they were from two different emails and two different birthdays but before I could finish she kept raising her hands at us telling us to hold on! I couldn't believe we were here again with the same person. What a terrible and threatening experience. I guess I thought when we went back since it had been over a year already it would be new people but I was wrong. It was the same large built African American lady who was dressed with dirty pants and a dirty shirt with juice all over it. I asked what the managers name was that was so rude and the cashier said LaLa (which I felt she lied to us) but hopefully LaLa is her name and she should be fired. I talked to Office Depot in the same shopping mall and a associate says the owner comes in all the time and she would let her know about the experience we had. Why would the owner have someone like that in charge, to scare away the customers? As we were leaving the manager shouted out "well you don't have to come back"! (just because my husband was expressing how rude she was). As the next couple came up to the counter she was rude with them too, telling them: to speak up they were talking to low...wow well guess what LaLa we wont be back! I asked the unenthusiastic employee if the type of smoothie was vegan (I thought she should know as much), she looked at the menu for a good minute before saying yes. I then ordered that smoothie which took around ten minutes to make. When I drank the smoothie it was very thick and tasted only of bananas which wasnāt supposed to be the primary fruit. Sometime after that I searched the menu to see more vegan flavors, only to find out that the flavor I was told was vegan, wasnāt. If someone had a food allergy and asked this employee, she most likely would of said it was okay to drink, even if it had an ingredient you were allergic too! Not to mention the fact that the whole process was done without gloves! She touched the ice barehanded after she touched money, then touched everything else!
