Planet Smoothie — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

My husband & I arrived to Florida around our birthday month last year and decided to use our birthday coupons to get a free smoothie. The manager was so rude she didn't want to honor the coupon for a medium and said it was for a small I told her it's states a medium on the coupon she replied: " I know what I am doing I've worked here a long time.'" After arguing with me she honored it. I didn't learn my lesson and went back recently for our birthdays again with our coupons. The manager did not want to honor them she raised her hands up to us, told us to hold on! so she could figure out the coupons. I pointed out they were from two different emails and two different birthdays but before I could finish she kept raising her hands at us telling us to hold on! I couldn't believe we were here again with the same person. What a terrible and threatening experience. I guess I thought when we went back since it had been over a year already it would be new people but I was wrong. It was the same large built African American lady who was dressed with dirty pants and a dirty shirt with juice all over it. I asked what the managers name was that was so rude and the cashier said LaLa (which I felt she lied to us) but hopefully LaLa is her name and she should be fired. I talked to Office Depot in the same shopping mall and a associate says the owner comes in all the time and she would let her know about the experience we had. Why would the owner have someone like that in charge, to scare away the customers? As we were leaving the manager shouted out "well you don't have to come back"! (just because my husband was expressing how rude she was). As the next couple came up to the counter she was rude with them too, telling them: to speak up they were talking to low...wow well guess what LaLa we wont be back! Smoothie King is much better and they have excellent customer service! Something LaLa or whatever her real name is...

My husband and I visited this location on December 30th.since then we have contacted I have gone in person and called again.as of today we haven’t received a call back.on this visit we spent almost $19 for two large last mango plus add ons.in my husbands drink as he sucked through the straw something hard hit the back of his throat he coughed for a bit thinking it was a piece of unblended fruit.well as he keep drinking it happen again except this time he ended up choking then vomit.then looking at the straw seeing something we hadn’t seen since first starting this drink over two years ago.hit was hard and fuzzy pieces.I immediately called the store as we were almost home.I spoke with Sara who remember who we were since we have been going there for awhile.explain to her what happen and told me that I would have to speak with Sam the manager but she had left for the day.I called the next day left my number never received a call back.I went in the lady there called Sam the manager she stated that there wasn’t anything she could dothat only regional can handle that.I was then advised that Jennifer the regional manager was coming the next day and I could speak with her.I called yet again left my name and number and have yet to hear from her.by the way it was pieces of a mango seed that had been blended.its not the point about the money more so the lack of concern for his or anyone else’s health.things could’ve been a lot different if he was someone older or younger and didn’t have the strength to bring it up.now we no longer have a place to get smoothies on the go.wish I...

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I asked the unenthusiastic employee if the type of smoothie was vegan (I thought she should know as much), she looked at the menu for a good minute before saying yes. I then ordered that smoothie which took around ten minutes to make. When I drank the smoothie it was very thick and tasted only of bananas which wasn’t supposed to be the primary fruit. Sometime after that I searched the menu to see more vegan flavors, only to find out that the flavor I was told was vegan, wasn’t. If someone had a food allergy and asked this employee, she most likely would of said it was okay to drink, even if it had an ingredient you were allergic too! Not to mention the fact that the whole process was done without gloves! She touched the ice barehanded after she touched money, then touched everything else! Other than the slow, lousy, unenthusiastic, unsanitary and unsafe service—the store was very nice. It’s really clean and welcoming, it also has a lot of seating inside. But I 100% recommended googling the menu’s allergy info before purchasing from this location!!! I will never buy from this chain again as it was expensive, unsatisfying and overall just a...
