I wanted a larger diamond to replace the center diamond on my wedding band set. When I first got it 5+ years ago my husband and I were both surprised (and a little disappointed) at how tiny the diamond was. It definitely looked larger online (not purchased at Reed's), but I liked the style of the engagement ring and wedding band set that I just rolled with it. But now 5 years later, I was really wanting an upgrade. My set was not pricey so I didn't want a huge, ultra clear and flawless diamond because it would stand out too much and not match the set. The original center stone was only about 1/10 carat and I wanted 1/4 carat...not a huge upgrade, but definitely larger. The retailer that we bought the set from said they could not sell a loose stone to do an upgrade..?? So we marched on over to Reed's and met Mehnaz and Ally. They were wonderful! The online inventory did not have a 1/4 carat, they started at 1/3, but that would be too big for my dainty little set. Mehnaz grabbed an earring set and said they could pull the diamond from one of the studs and put it in my ring! So instead of pressuring me to buy a bigger diamond than I wanted, they found a solution to meet my needs. The pricing on the diamond and the labor to mount it on my ring was very reasonable and it turned out beautifully! And it was done within a week of me dropping it off. Jeff and his team are professional, courteous, and customer-focused. There has never been a time that I enter the store, I was not greeted warmly, and with a smile (even behind the mask we are all forced to wear). I was searching for a wedding gift for my fiance and Jeff was ready with items I told him I was interested in, over the phone. Jeff stayed within my price point, but my taste runs differently and Jeff responded with ease and decorum. He made recommendations for the new price point. Though I was hesitant, he assured me it would work and it did. He encouraged me to sit while he cleaned my jewelry and worked through the process. Jeff, Eric, and Mehnaz became my personal jewelers. They worked efficiently and effortlessly to process the purchase, wrap, and gift-bag it. To top it off, I received a beautiful gift of diamond earrings from Reeds. I was blown away. I want to leave another review but I don't believe google will let me. Today I made another larger purchase at Reeds and I just have to say that Fabiana is beyond incredible. She has helped me with my jewelry purchases and maintenance constantly for the past year. Today she helped me upgrade my diamond earring and this thing is beautiful.
