Windsor — Local services in Pineville

As my daughter's usual she had asked me to take her to this store for a special occasion dress. Meanwhile my daughter was trying some dresses I found two skirts that got my attention and decided to try them on. While I got close to the fitting room I try to open one and the employee at cash register told me those rooms were in used and that i needed to wait for one. I notice there was two in the other side that were possibly available and asked for those but without an explanation i was told no that i had to wait and I did for about 10 minutes. Keep in mind I was never stated that they were closed other that i couldn't use them. Shortly after waiting 10 minutes I notice this lady going in on one of the rooms and 5 minutes after a guy comes from the corner and asked me "Are you waiting for a fitting room?" I said "yes." He quickly moved a rack in front of it and continued walking away with rack while saying you can use that one. Me thinking oh he is a worker coming in i took his word. A minute after being there i was knock "I need you to come out!" At that point I understood it was a misunderstanding. I came out and walk towards front register to apologize and to explain the situation but I was not able to really say much, my skirts were snatched from my arms and I was asked to leave store for not being compliant. If not she was going to call security on me. I asked her why would she have the need to do that if I'm not stealing , disrespecting or arguing with her but she told me what she had told me from the beginning and how I was not being compliant but yet I tried to explain and apologize. I did understood and left the store and waited for my daughter. I believe even if she was short staff or whatever she could've handle the situation differently, having a sign that could've stated that the fitting rooms were closed would've been helpful instead of a rack that now I know that a random kind person moved it for me which i thought he was a worker coming in. She humiliated me Infront of other customers after i tried to explain myself with much respect. I wouldn’t recommend this specific Windsor to anyone. Today (9/21/23), my girlfriend and I had went in at about 6:40. The gate was halfway down as if they were about to close but yet they had 20 minutes left. My girlfriend picks out a couple items and proceeds to the dressing room, time is roughly 6:48. The male worker then shouts “the fitting rooms are closed” my girlfriend politely responds with “it’ll only take a minute” and heads inside. Keep in mind that there are at least 10 other shoppers in the store and 1 inside the stall beside her trying on clothes. He then proceeds to open my girlfriends stall door and my girlfriend says “excuse me I’m changing, I don’t have any pants on” he holds the door halfway open while saying “the fitting rooms are closed” then closes the door. He then opens the door on another lady and says “oh sorry the fitting rooms are closed” then shuts it. THIS IS A PROBLEM PEOPLE. I wish I would’ve gotten his name so I could report him but trust me we will be calling corporate and I hope the other lady does as well. What a GEM! Was looking for a dress for a sweet 16 and was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this store. They have a fabulous selection and variety of classi, elegant, and chic dresses for a fraction of the cost. They have a variety of long to short dresses. Prom, formals, homecoming, and even dresses to use for a simple wedding. They also have regular clothing and a lot of accessories to match the dresses. I was able to snag a cute short green dress with a white furry cover up to use for the couch ceremony. All for less than $100. All the other stores i was looking at before, the dresses were $100+. I definitely recommend this store if you are looking for a party dress on a budget. The employees were super friendly and efficient. I went on a Sunday around 1 p.m., and it was busy.
