Munoz Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Pinson

I recently visited Munoz Mexican Grill in Pinson, Alabama, and overall, it was a delightful experience. 

Service & Atmosphere: The servers were outstanding—attentive, friendly, and efficient. Even during busy hours, they ensured that everything ran smoothly, making us feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, with tasteful decor that enhanced the dining experience. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable environment. 

Food Presentation & Taste: The food presentation was impressive; dishes arrived hot and well-plated, showcasing generous portions. However, I found the flavors to be somewhat mild compared to what I’m accustomed to. While the meals were satisfying, they lacked the boldness I typically associate with Mexican cuisine. This sentiment seems to be shared by some other patrons as well.

Final Thoughts: Despite the milder flavors, the overall experience at Munoz Mexican Grill was positive. The excellent service, inviting atmosphere, and appealing food presentation make it a noteworthy spot. I use to really like this place... went in tonight to order take out... Cindy took my order... not a very welcoming person... placed my order and paid... was told there would be a little wait... so I walked in 2 of the stores in the same shopping center... 35 minutes after paying for my order I asked could we check its status... Cindy walked away mumbling under her breathe... I could see her walk all the way to the kitchen... as she walked into the kitchen she threw her hands up... came back and said they were working on it... My question is... why be so rude to a paying customer?? I get it was a little busy... but shouldn't that be a good thing?? Being irritated is one thing... letting the customer see it is completely different...

This use to be a good place to go get great service and enjoy your meal, but when you get service like this raw cold food and you say something to a shift manager who admits to not being there at time of incident but claims she seen what we were complaining about and accuses you of eating half the food and stills charges full price for your food and uses excuse they were very busy last night but yet you weren’t there weren’t there. Was asked by waiter if we wanted a fresh plate but who wants to wait another hour for possibly same service of food you would send back.
