Dollar General — Local services in Pinson

Went to this store on Chalkville Road and they were the most unorganized Dollar General that I have ever gone to! And the cashier that checked me out was very rude and acted as if he did not want be there and did not wanna check me out. I had several items that were priced wrong and he got an attitude because he had to call the manager to correct it. I went back for a second time and he was even worse so I asked him was he having a bad day or didn't want to be there because his facial expressions were showing it (no smiles at all!!) He told me "no, I don't want to be here and plus i ain't supposed to be here anyway it's my day off. Also during that checkout, I was trying to purchase something on the $1 aisle but it rang up $3. He would not sell it to me. I paid for the other item that I had then went to find the M.O.D. He went to check the item and saw that it was on the $1 aisle. He said that he would honor the price because it was on that aisle. I went to pick up something else that I needed that should have been, purchase $10 in those items, get $3. Well that $3 didn't come off even though those items came up to $12, so I said forget it because I was tired of his attitude. He also said about the other items that I was purchasing, "you know these are $3 each right because we can't keep overriding stuff because the register is going to come up $200 short and it ain't going to be on me". I said "so u trying to be funny" and he laughed about it. I didn't think it was funny at all.They were mainly standing around talking amongst themselves or to certain customer friends of theirs. The only ones that was actually courteous was the manager on duty and the female associate that was working. I will never go back to this...

The only reason this rating has one star is because u have to give a one star rating to right a reveiw. I was at line to check out with two buggies of containers and the young black girl cashier motion other costumers to check out in front of me. I said something and they acted like i wasn't t even standing there. The same cashier did the same thing the other day when i was in there with my two girls.i do not know here have no idea why she did it i do know i go in the at least five times a week. I was purchasing $70.00 dollars worth of containers, i left went to Walmart and saved thirty five dollars on the same container and i didn't have to get an employee to find a top that matched it either and no one was rude that girl does not need to work with people if she can t treat everything the same .i am a thirty year old latio woman i was born here and my kids were too. U would think that someone who surly deals with racism to others and i m sure i m not the only one. Never will i go back i ve been going there for fifteen years and she's new has been there a month no more...

DOLLAR GENERAL DOES NOT EXCEPT GOOGLE PAY!! I called the Pinson location and asked if they did and they replied, Yes. Just to be sure, when I arrived at the store I asked one of the associates if they accepted Google Pay and again I got an answer of yes. I didn't want to have to waste my time shopping for everything I needed and it not work. Well that's exactly what happened. Employees should know this type of information and this is EXACTLY why. If anything, it's every person above them that really is to blame. Managers, etc should know EVERYTHING about their store. And knowing what types of payment they except should be pretty high on their list. I usually don't write bad reviews for any type of establishment. I just won't return to it, but every mother knows that any type of shopping (well I'll exclude shopping for MY clothes, shoes, makeup) takes up time and that time we'd rather be doing something else. And again, I don't like to write bad reviews, but this also wasn't 2 or 3 items, I had a buggy full. DOLLAR GENERAL DOES NOT EXCEPT...
