Pamela was hands down the RUDEST employee I have ever dealt with. My aunt was ordering sandwiches for us, while reading it off of her phone. When she got back home, the order was wrong. I called up to the store to let them know and see what they could do about it. I got put on the phone with Pamela since she is the one that made the sandwich. When I let her know that I had ordered a #2 - The Outlaw, and that they did not put the Chipotle sauce or the onions that normally come in it (nor did they put the double meat that we asked for), she cut me off to tell me that she didn’t hear the double meat and that my aunt didn’t specifically ask for the onions and Chipotle sauce. She began to argue with me, cutting me off and being rude the whole time. When she said “what exactly do you want”, I told her I wanted her to take my information and have the manager to call me in the morning. She then said “ok” and hung up on me. And not accidentally either. Because I immediately called back and was ignored until I called a total of EIGHT (8) times!
When I finally got someone back on the phone, I got nothing but attitude. Being told “we are busy” “what do you want me to do” and generally being dismissive and disrespectful. I finally asked if she wasn’t able to authorize replacing my sandwich, she responded “Absolutely not. I’m brand new here. I just started”. Followed by “Mickey (manager) is the only one who can authorize a remake. He’ll have to review the cameras and everything. It’s a process”. Seemingly trying to dissuade me from complaining.
Apparently they operate without a manager or anyone who can make decisions on a SATURDAY at 2 PM. And according to the employee, it’s not from lack of business, because they were too busy to bother dealing with me. The manager is supposedly working the next morning and should be calling me. We will see if that actually happens. If he does, I will update my review accordingly.
I have come to this Subway for decades at this point. Seen more managers and employees come and go than I can remember. But I have NEVER been talked to and treated so rudely.
And just for extra detail here is what my aunt ordered and exactly how she ordered it:
“ #2 "The Outlaw" - 6 inch on white bread. Double meat. No green peppers. Add lettuce and ranch.”
Update: Mickey never called me in the morning, so I had to call him. He also wanted to argue with me. When I insisted on the point that all I wanted was to get my order fixed/replaced and that everything was made worse from the employees being rude, he offered me 50% a new sandwich. Really?! Take some accountability. Why are you so insistent on driving your customers away?! I told him that was not good enough, that i wanted my order REPLACED not discounted. His response was “I will look at the cameras when I have some time and give you a call back”. What I hear from that is: he is going to make me wait while he bothers with stuff HE deems important. And he is going to look for literally any excuse he can find to justify the rude behavior of him and his staff.
I’ll update again whenever Mickey deems me important enough to grace me with his phone call.
Final Edit: Mickey called me back a few hours later and offered to replace the sandwich that I paid for. Which is completely understandable. I may have asked for double meat, but I didn’t pay for it, so I was completely fine with him just replacing what I did pay for. I went in the next day (Monday) and got my replacement sandwich. There wasn’t any drama. I believe he apologized for what happened. My only hope now is that the previous rudeness does not...

I guess I was supposed to know when I said toasted that didn’t mean any tan/brown.
