Was visiting Pittsburgh for a wedding and stopped in here at the recommendation of a friend. They have an exceptional selection of high-end men's clothing, and the staff was great. They were helpful without being pushy whatsoever-- which I consider ideal. Coming from miami, the down to earthness/helpfulness/knowledge/attention and sophistication (without pretense) of the staff was a breath of fresh air.

While there i also got a shoe shine... 10/10. I was helped by Maxy, we had a light conversation and he told me he had been shining since the 80s. Having worked in New York, LA, DC, and now Miami, I can attest that finding a good shine is difficult and increasingly more difficult to find. The commitment of the store to keeping in touch with this part of culture and the old world craftsmanship, while also fusing itself with the modern and contemporary, says a lot about what you will find there.

Fantastic men's clothing store. I've purchased a few items here in the last few months. Most recently they custom-tailored suit . If you stop in ask for Bentley Hicks. He is an overall great human being. Outstanding customer service, fantastic knowledge of his trade. I have learned more about men's clothing from him then I've learned from anyone else. The best part is pushy. Each time I've shopped there he's taken time to introduce me to his other clients. That's rare. It may seem like a small gesture but it shows the character that he has. I've ordered from Larrimor's several times (always handbags--either MZ Wallace or Hammitt). They ship promptly and everything is packaged very well. This last time, they accidentally sent me the wrong back (it had gold hardware instead of gunmetal). I reached out to them, and they called me to apologize profusely and to let me know that they would ship the correct one immediately, even before they received the return.
