The Picket Fence — Local services in Pittsburgh

This is a nice little store; however, I did not have a great experience there due to the staff. My 2 year old was with me in the store and he was playing around a little bit, as all 2 years do, and this older lady sternly told us he can't play around like that. I get being stern, but at least be decent / civil to us when we are checking out. She did not say a word, no friendly smile, nothing. It's like we didn't exist...There was a younger blonde girl who was nice and friendly though. Customer service these days is EVERYTHING. This place is the cutest!! I was walking home (a different way because it was a nicer day - took the long way home) and I passed this store that just caught my eye! Picket Fence has the absolute cutest stuff! Their kids section caught my eye immediately. And the women's sections. The purse's and jewelry they have in there are so great for someone who is looking to build a "adult" style! Definitely going back...

Picket Fence is such a unique boutique in Shadyside! A variety of clothing for women and children is a breath of fresh air! The boutique has the most adorable toys for children!
