Learn moreI love this place to death the food is normally great and so are most of the employees attitudes. Tonight however I was treated poorly by the gentleman in drive thru and the lady that took my order was rude. I know them personally from working with them so I had started joking with the lady by saying "I know you guys better answer the headset no one is here and you were talking at the table" (this is something anyone could have seen driving by weather I worked there or not.) I was being a difficult customer but a customer none the less and I shouldn't have been treated that way. So, no I am not making this review as an employee but as a paying customer that no longer want the drinks I ordered and drove off because as a customer I felts miss treated... but don't get me started on as an employee. Yes overall I love sonic and all the people I meet there and I love making each customer I talk to have a smile on their face. I love customers saying they come back just to see me it makes me happy to see you guys happy. Read moreTerrible! We waited almost 35 minutes for our order which was only 1 order of onion rings double cheese burger and 1 order of 3 chicken tenders with tater tots. I've worked fast food before and can tell you first hand it does not take that long to drop chicken and onion rings in a fryer more than 10 minutes tops. It was slow with only 1 car ahead. I could make the order quicker myself. Need to have a better system in place along with training. It wasn't a supply chain issue if you already have the product we've been served. Other fast food places I've been to served their food quickly even when it was busy keeping the line moving. The guy who was taking order appeared to be goofing off dancing not working at between 8:20 pm to 8:55 pm on 11/29/21. This part of the business model? As a former business owner I will let corporate know so other customers will not have the same experience. Read moreThis place gets busy during prime hours but that's pretty normal. I've waited over half an hour at McDonald's before. But fast food joints can only serve and make food so fast, so other people who have reviewed poorly might want to consider that.
I've always had hot food, and its never been bad. But if the place is full, it's an unreasonable expectation to think the workers are gonna get you a slushie in 10 minutes when 15 other people ordered one too before you got there. I wish people would stop holding fast food joints responsible for things that are out of their control. They can only work with the hand they are dealt that day.
All that being said, I've never had a bad experience here. Hot food, accurate orders and usually don't have to wait long at all. Good place to go, and we visit a few...
