In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Plano

This review isn’t about the food (which is of course fresh and delicious always) but rather about the top notch customer service we experienced.

As soon as my family and I walked in the door we were greeted by an enthusiastic gentleman who firstly greeted my children with stickers and took our orders with patience. I noticed as we were waiting for our food he would announce to the workers the number of patrons walking in so they could mentally prepare themselves. Then as we received our food, my husband went back to the counter to ask for a knife to cut my children’s burgers in half. The same cheery man said to tell them next time and they can pre cut the food for us.

As we enjoyed the food, my son accidentally dropped a slice of tomato on the floor. Another smiling worker quickly came by and cleaned it up for us.

As we finished up the food, the same cheery man (who is probably the manager) gave my children more stickers and even hats. They were so happy as this was their first experience at In-and-Out. He said he knows children love this as he has 3 of his own.

This is where things could’ve gone downhill. My son enjoyed the fries a little too much and overate … to the point where he projectile vomited all over the floor. We were in the front of the store right next to the ketchup so no way you could miss it. The employees could’ve given us attitude but not once did they. The man first made sure my son was ok and gave him a cup of water. Then they took out a professional cleaning kit. The same cheery man suited up in protective gear, including a smock, face shield, face mask, goggles, gloves and booties and used professional cleaning chemicals to clean up the mess quickly. I felt so bad that I couldn’t help but not once did they make my family and I feel like a burden. What could’ve been a very negative experience didn’t feel like one, and I only wish I could’ve at least tipped the crew for their troubles.

I’ve not experienced this sort of exceptional service at many sit down restaurants, let alone fast food places, and I felt compelled to write this review to let other people know of the wonderful service we received this...

As I was pulling up to the drive-thru window, I realized I’d accidentally spilled my iced coffee all over my passenger seat while fumbling with my order. In my panic, I held up the line for a few minutes trying to clean it up. I was embarrassed, but the staff was incredible. The cashier, Miguel, handed me extra napkins and a cup of water to help with the mess, all while keeping a warm smile. Another employee stepped in to take orders on foot to keep the line moving smoothly. They even tossed in a free drink to “brighten my day,” which turned my stressful moment into a heartwarming one.
