Went there today to get a gyro. Saw they had a new Philly Gyro, I asked the lady (white lady or could be spanish with brown hair in a ponytail and glasses) how was the Philly Gyro and what kind of meat was used. She said it would be the regular lamb, so I said I would like a chicken pita. She then started putting some peppers and stuff on the grill. I didn't think anything of it, maybe she was multi tasking or something. She then got some lamb out and put it on my pita. Which I stated it that mine? I asked for a chicken pita. She said "oh that's right", and took the lamb of the pita. She then looked at me and back at the pita, because she didn't want to waste it. I told her that was fine, she can use the sale bread. Then she got a piece of chicken and chopped it up, and asked which tezyki sauce I wanted. After that she handed my pita to the guy who was helping her to finish making my Gyro. He took the pita from her and went to the grill to put those peppers and whatever else she put on the grill earlier on top of my Gyro. I informed him that, that was not what I asked for, I wanted the chicken pita. (The chicken pita you get to tell them what you want on it.) So he asked the lady what I asked for. She told him I want a Philly Gyro. I told the guy I asked for a chicken pita, so I can put what I want on it. The lady keep cutting me off while I was trying to tell the guy what it was I asked for. I told her she is not letting me speak and asked if she could stop cutting me off. She just keep talking and saying we will fix it, and you asked for a Philly. I asked them how if you won't even let me speak. Then I told everyone to have a great day and walked out. Because she just keep trying to tell the guy that I said I wanted a Philly, when I only asked how was the Philly. And how could she fix my order if she would not even let me talk. I have never had to walk out of a place, but she would not just chilli..... apologize and ask what I want on my chicken pita not make me uncomfortable, making the situation more then what it needed to be. When I was being easy-going the whole time didn't get mad, keep the same pita you already put the wrong meat on. Then just trying to let the guy know what the right order should be. Not happy at all with my...
Read moreIt was quite bad and so unbalanced for a platter. I feel like I just ate McDonald's except I would have enjoyed a Cheeseburger & Fries so much more than this! It felt so unhealthy to eat this and I went for a gyro platter to have some balance... I thought it would be a greek salad, gyro meat, some warm pita bread, fresh & healthy Tzatziki sauce and some French fries (you can do fries instead of rice) This was just very salty meat and very salty fries with a sprinkle of reddish-spoiled Romaine lettuce and a few salad toppings, cold pita bread & Tzatziki sauce (? this did not taste like a healthy greek yogurt based sauce) just poured over everything instead of putting it on the side (this was to-go). The amount of "salad" in this platter was comparable to the amount of coleslaw that would come with a sandwich to-go order somewhere—those little tiny containers, that amount. I can't imagine how little is in the wraps UPDATE: I just got a reply from the owner (a month later) with an insincere "sorry you feel that way" and then just used the reply as an opportunity for bad advertising. It's one thing to say hey sorry for the service you got, it's unusual for us, I'm on top of it, etc, etc, something. This owner just wrote hey, you should inspect your meal when you come to my place. Just note that the owner's lazy reply wasn't even as close to as bad as I remember...
Read moreFriday around 7 I show up to get gyros with my wife. I make it clear that I want NO PEPPERS on my gyro several times. I said it multiple times and got the employed acknowledgment. The employees proceed to pour peppers into it. I remind them again and they act as tho they didn’t hear me and I should have stopped them sooner. I tell them in not eating it, they made a mistake they should fix it. And they start swearing and cussing me out. I was calm and level headed and they threw out disgusting vile language. We both left without food because we can’t support that kind of behavior. I go back today because I have sympathy for small businesses and I would like to express to the manager what transpired because this can not be a one time event. And it was not. When I arrive the employees who berated me slunk to the back. I asked a new face who was at the register if the manager was here and how to contact them. The employee said “I know you, your the guy who likes to talk under his breath.(in response to a comment to my wife about use just leaving) The manager ain’t here but if you want to come back at 9 you can meet me in the parking lot when my shift is over” 2 employees on multiple days throw insults and...
