This pharmacy is one of the WORST I have ever been to!! This review is based on multiple visits over the course of the year and not just one bad time. The pharmacists are very slow and very judgmental over what medication you are getting. They question you and then roll their eyes when you explain (and you shouldn't have to explain why you are on a medication in the first place! That's not their business or job). They run out of medication constantly and don't have a lot of off brand medication so you will pay more. Heart meds are around 25 dollars here while they are 6 at Walmart (without insurance so this is base price). They are soooo slowww and you will wait about an hour no matter how busy it seems. If they have a problem they won't call you and so you will wait an hour then go to pick up your meds and they'll tell you that there was a problem then instead of calling to inform you so you can resolve it. And then you will wait another hour while they fill it. They don't bother to ever try to let you know there is a problem unless you specifically ask them to call you if there's an issue and even then sometimes they won't. Bad service. Bad employees. Bad price....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife was waiting to be served at the deli. She was going to purchace a 12 piece chicken dinner. When two pretty young ladies walked up behind my wife to stand in line. The server just bypassed my wife and immediately served the two young ladies. Very rude!!! Then she bought the dinner which was supposed to have three wings, three legs, three thighs and three breast. She got one breast. 8 wings. Two thighs. And one leg. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!! Then she wanted mashed potatos. They were out, and he told my wife they were not going to make any more. So my wife took the chicken and went on her way. Then by coincidence my wife had to pass by the deli again. LOW AND BEHOLD THEY MADE MORE POTATOS!!! so she was able to complete buying the meal. This young man is a liar! He's rude! And quite disrespectfull! Next time he and his manager will have to deal with me! Rather than taking advantage of women who are to polite to argue! We will see how that works...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFrom my experience, to be honest Price Chopper (at least this one) is a bit overpriced. It's the nearest supermarket to buy at, so I think they just monopolize the locals into buying here. In case you didn't know, like all super markets, you MAY find some items here and there that are moderately priced or some sales may actually not be sales at all. First thing is first, it looked like all the produce is organic which means it'll be more pricy. But I've made the math on some items and buying in "bulk" is the same as buying items in singles... absolutely not a deal. Bulks of Peppers When divided by what you're actually getting are actually .10 cents more than if you bought them in singles for example... happened to me once, those little cents stack up. My advice: Be a smart buyer, make the math on what you're actually buying. I'll still come back to the Price Chopper, but I won't do my bulk of purchases here: it's just not sustainable...
