First off, i wanted to give this theater 5 stars. Service and location is great.
Great makeover of the old water gardens theater. The carpet is gone, nice grey slate tile. The app shows limited fountain drinks but there is a full spread, similar to Maverick gas stations. More food options than shown on the app also. Pretzel bites nachos icees and a few others at the usual prices.
We were in theater 5 and the floor has a nice light wood vinyl that is soft to walk on and low sound/ minimal echoing. This theater had luxury recliner seats only which are very nice and appear new. The seat heaters kept the ac from freezing us but the room temperature was perfect. Reclining was comfortable and the seat moved smoothly.
The dolby sound was very good and the picture quality as well.
The only drawback was the screen itself, too high for the level the seats were at (on the floor). There is a mild decline in the floor but not raised and i think the screen height was designed for a raised stadium type of seating. I had to crane my neck a bit in any seating position and we were in row D.
That said, the movie (F1) was enveloping and the sound was perfectly balanced.
I'll have to get into the other theaters to see what kind of experience they have.

Read moreHad an exceptional experience at this theater. They’ve remodeled to have everything you find at other locations—amazing heater recliners, nice screens, unbeatable sound. Yet it still feels pretty small town in the best ways. It wasn’t packed, it has really short lines, way more seating options than we usually see when buying tickets for other theaters, parking lot wasn’t packed. And for us, it is much closer than their other locations. They do have fewer food options than some of the massive locations, but all the basics still and truly, the popcorn was the best I’ve ever had from Megaplex (not sure if this was a one time thing or it will always be that good).
We needed some help with refunds and multiple employees went absolutely out of their way to do everything they could to help. It was a great experience that our whole group loved. Glad to have such a great theater...
Read moreWe loved when this theater was Water Gardens. Someone gave us a gift card to Water Gardens theater right before it was bought out by Megaplex, and Megaplex won’t honor it. They told us information was put out saying they would not honor Water Gardens gift cards, but we never saw that and it should not be my responsibility to figure that out. Megaplex is a big company and does not seem to care about their customers, and now the gift someone gave us is worth nothing. It feels like Megaplex is stealing our money. We would have been happy to keep supporting the theater, but not now. The gift card was enough for my husband and I to see one movie together, I don’t think it would hurt them to honor that. We wish they would have handled this better to...
