This shop is conveniently placed for anyone traveling North/South/East/West of Pleasant Grove, Lindon, American Fork or Cedar Hills. Unfortunately I am not able to provide a better review at this time for several reasons: 1. COVID restrictions in place disrupt the full experience of this coffeehouse, which is totally out of Beans & Brews control. I will say that I do notice the staff practicing great social distancing practices and are always wearing masks. 2. I have been visiting this Coffeehouse since they opened and have developed a long term relationship with 97% of all the staff. Recently something has happened at this location that has caused noticeably strong reactions. I have noticed that 4 long-term employees have left their employment with Beans & Brews, the remaining long-term employees seem to be under quite a bit of stress and if I'm being completely honest, the new staff do not impress me with their customer service skills or Barista talent. I don't know if there has been a change in ownership at this location or if there was a major change to employee benefits, corporate policy or what, but something significant changed and that's really unfortunate. 3. The Beans & Brews mobile app has recently had 3 major malfunctions which caused customers to lose their reward points, prevented them from paying with the mobile app and receiving new reward points. The app itself lacks certain features that to me would seem obvious and worth-while but isn't necessarily a show-stopper. For new customers or anyone looking for a good cup of coffee in the area, I don't discourage you from visiting Beans & Brews, you'll find something you enjoy. I would say at the very least, don't expect to be "Wowed"...
Read moreToday (07/16/2021) around 8:30 am today I went through the drive through. I ordered one coffee. When I arrived to the drive through window the lady said that I had ordered two coffees after I had paid. I told her that it was only one. She called her manager "JAKE". He came to the window and was raising his voice, and it got to a point that he was yelling at me. He was accusing me of ordering two coffees and that he had allegedly heard me order two coffees. I said that there was only one person in my car so there was no need for two. He said, exactly so you tell me. Jake told me that he had heard me order two coffees again, and I said no. He also said that I had ordered large ones. I said no, it was a medium one. Jake was very upset with me when I asked him if I could get a refund for one coffee. He got upset and closed the window very hard. After a while, he came back and asked me for my debit card. He caused me to have an anxiety attack and cry. He then said that he was sorry because his worker heard incorrectly due to being "deaf". I felt attacked by Jake because I did not do anything wrong. I hope that this type of behavior is not considered "normal" with Beans and Brews. Jake seemed very aggressive. I don't know if his negative behavior is because I...
Read moreI don't frequent B&B too often, as I prefer fresh coffee over pre mixed, but I always have a pleasant experience with the baristas at any location I visit, except for this one in PG.
There is a young woman with very short, dark hair, ( I believe a manager) who is never welcoming to anyone.
She doesn't engage with customers. If you aren't quick to know exactly what you want and don't order in a 3 second time frame (despite the fact that you are literally the only customer there) she gets attitude, rolls her eyes and makes scoffs at you and she never smiles. At anyone.
I don't care to interact with her in person and I can tell by her tone when she is working the drive thru. Obviously, from my other reviews, I'm huge on customer service. I work in the industry and interact with customers religiously, and know it takes a lot of patience, but if you're the face of a business, even for a single shift, you should make it a lovely experience for...
