The worst treatment I've gotten at any business. When I walked in the manager came to me and asked what I was getting, I explained I had never had acrilics done, and I was trying to decide between a regular manicure or acrilic nails. I asked him to answer some basic questions on how acrilic works like how much it would cost for a basic design and how I would have to care for them. He completely ignored my questions and told me to go talk to another employee that could explain more. I was introduced to this employee where I repeated the same questions and explained it was my first time. Again, I didn't get any answers on the pricing or care/maintenance that I asked about. At this point the manager tells me to sit in a chair and wait for the lady who would do my nails. When the lady came to help me she asked what I wanted and I began to explain the same thing that it's my first time and asked the same questions I still hadn't had answered. Without saying a word she gets up and walks away. When she came back she asked in a super pushy way what I wanted to get. WHY WONT ANYONE ANSWER MY QUESTIONS?? Since no one in the building could answer simple questions about acrilic (when they advertise that this is what they specialize in) I decided against acrilics, even though that's what I wanted to get, and just got a manicure instead. I've gotten manicures done a million times (never here) and this is hands down the worst I've ever had. My nails aren't even at all and they are snagging on my clothes from the rough finish. At the end they tried charging me $10 more than what the pamphlet listed. If I wasn't meeting a group there for a nail date I would have walked out after the first two employees treated me very rude and didn't answer any of my questions. I gave 1 star because it won't let me do zero, but I think zero stars would be more suiting for their unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge. From what I experienced the only way this business has 5 star reviews has to be from the owner's family and friends creating reviews for them. Avoid at all costs especially if you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been coming here since I moved to Utah & if youre just wanting a pedicure their services are pretty good. Recently I started getting my nails done too & because of my line of work I cant do artificial so have done gel nail polish. The first set was absolutely fabulous & I was suprised they actually lasted 6 weeks!! Kelly is wonderful & does exceptional quality work but she is busy.... and so my last 2 appointments were to have the 6 week old gel removed & then have another gel manicure done. Unfortunately the new manicure didnt even last a week... I went back & they were very helpful when they saw chipping & redid the manicure with the same manicurist at no charge & I also got a pedicure. The whole experience felt very rushed & 3 different people worked on my feet which didnt make for a very relaxing environment. I kinda felt bad calling out the not as quality work so asked if I could get a French gel manicure & would pay the difference so the gentleman doing the work wouldn't have unpaid time. They charged $20 to do a French gel manicure & we are 4 days from that manicure & already chipping again. So that feels like a waste. I will have to remove because I can't have chipping polish in my career. So, unless you can book with Kelly, I'd say this place is really only good for a pedicure as long as youre ok with not getting a relaxing self care experience. The photo is of my 4 day old gel French manicure that is a redo for the same issue. š I paid 20 but I believe it would have been 60... but it was a redo & I'm sad it looks like this & now need to figure out how to get this off! I'd go back but I already did that & gave another chance. I will be going elsewhere for my services in the future. If you know a great place in AF or PG area, please...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in today to get a full set done. i was very upfront with steven about what i wanted from the beginning. i showed him a picture and said i want this cat eye but as a french tip so the color is at the top. he said okay and we started. his acrylic building was terrible. that shouldāve made me realize how the appointment would go. he would get a good sized bead of acrylic apply to the nail then keep shaping it and pushing it off till there is basically no more acrylic on my nails. i got a long set so i know that these donāt have any structural integrity and will snap once they get slightly over grown. we then start doing the color and steven tells me we will start color then do the french tip. i thought that was weird since normally you leave the bed of the nail alone and carve out the french tip with a smaller brush so thereās not as much work. but i trusted him because hes the one that works there. he does my color all wrong at first and i have to tell him to fix it which gets him frustrated. weāre done with color and he reaches for the cuticle oil and i ask what about the french tip. he tells me no weāre done. im so confused at this point and tell him i said i wanted a french tip and SHOW HIM A PICTURE OF WHAT A FRENCH TIP IS. others start coming over telling me they will start over and do it for me. at this point i am so over being there and not being listened to i am just ready to fix it at home. Steven clearly didnāt know how to do a cat eye or how to do what i was wanting. it was frustrating that it seemed like he was very annoyed with me and pulling at my hands and being very aggressive during the whole thing then on top of that does...
