I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life at this bridal store, and it completely ruined my first-ever wedding dress shopping trip. The staff was incredibly rude, dismissive, and lacked basic customer service etiquette. I had been to this store before to look for dresses for several of my events. Unfortunately, they just didn’t have what I was looking for at the time, but I still used to refer people to them if I thought they might find what they needed there. During my wedding dress appointment, I had one good worker who was genuinely helpful and kind. But once the owner came in, everything changed. She was extremely rude and completely flipped the entire experience upside down. Her behavior, along with the owner’s sister, made the whole appointment feel tense and uncomfortable. They had an issue with the fact that I tried on more than one wedding dress to find the perfect one for me. At one point, they even said we were taking too long and acted like we were wasting their time. Things escalated when we pointed out visible wear and tear on the dress I was interested in purchasing. It had a hole in the back, rips at the bottom, the underside was black, and most of the beading and diamonds were either missing or falling off. The metal pieces were even rusted. In addition to that, the lace on the top part of the dress was ripped and falling off in multiple areas. Despite them claiming it was a “brand new” dress, we later learned it was actually the owner’s old wedding dress being resold. Still, we agreed to pay full price for it—as long as they agreed to fix the visible damage before we picked it up and had it ready for me. Because I thought this was truly the dress for me and I was willing to still buy it under that condition. Even another customer in the store came up to me while I was wearing the dress and said it looked absolutely beautiful—but then walked closer and quietly told me, “This is not a brand new dress. Look at it—all the stones are missing and the metal is rusted.” That confirmed what we were already seeing with our own eyes. Instead of being understanding or professional, the owner told us we were “nitpicking” and said that if we bought the dress, she didn’t want to see us back in the store. That’s completely unacceptable, especially when they’re trying to sell a dress as new—it should look new. We weren’t asking for a discount; we just wanted the dress to be in wearable condition before pick-up, which is a very reasonable request. Then, as we were calmly going over what needed to be done before finalizing the purchase, the owner suddenly started screaming at us in front of all the other customers. She became aggressive and, to our shock, even threatened to call the police on us—simply because we pointed out the damage and dared to expect a basic level of customer service and respect. We were still willing to buy the dress at full price and were trying to meet them halfway, but she was clearly more interested in being right than being professional. What’s worse, I later learned from someone close to the business that many of their glowing five-star reviews were allegedly fake and purchased to boost their rating when they first opened. That makes sense now, because the experience I had doesn’t match those reviews at all. This should have been a joyful, memorable experience—and instead, it was humiliating and stressful. Please, do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere that values their customers, treats brides with kindness, and stands behind the quality of what they sell. You only get this moment once. You deserve better.
This just goes to show that not everyone who owns a business knows how to run one. People get too greedy when they see money—and they forget what it means to truly serve and...
Read moreIf you buy a dress you wouldn’t expect to buy a dress worth $100 for a kid for them to use fabric glue and the out come to look sloppy if I would have not been in a rush and seen all these fabric glue strands sticking out I would have never bought it. Also they have a no return policy before you go so make sure you know the dress is in good condition because mine with the tag and all is separating at the waist line. All they said is we can fix it if you come back I live 2 hours away and I need to get there before 3 or I have to pick it up after 3 tomorrow if I drop it off any later. My first and last time coming in. Check your dress!! Using cheap material like fabric glue and charging $87 plus tax for a four year olds dress I’d get it if it was a quality dress. But for a dress that looks like the flowers are glued on no. Please check your dress before it happens to you. Quality work deserves quality price. Do not waist your money. The separating seam picture isn’t loading but when it does I’ll attach it too. The glue strands are all over the dress and makes it look tacky I’m afraid to pull them all off and flowers start raining off. Read others reviews as well I see I’m not the only one with complaints and they only respond to ones that they can discredit. This place is a joke, nothing besides taking it back when this is not something that should happen at a “high quality boutique” it’s best if you don’t go to a local boutique. Spend the extra money to be able to get better customer service, quality, and a piece of mind that if you’re unsatisfied with quality you can return it. Also I was never told either my purchase and no signs saying...
