Very pretty items and amazing selection. Unfortunately, staff stereotype costumers. Review for experience. Not the product.
I went inside to look for some items to gift my grandmother who is unable to be in the store for health issues. I took a photo, and I send it to my aunt who would show the products to my grandma. At the time I was there I spoke to my 1 year old daughter a couple times saying things like “it’s ok”, “don’t worry baby”, “almost done”, as soon as I spoke to my daughter and the employees heard my broken english; Every single employee in the store, mainly the one that was in charge to greed the costumers started following me and standing in a distance of less than 1 step away from me. I ignore the behavior and continue to wait for my aunt to replied; she asked me to check a wallet that was on the bottom of the display. None, absolutely NONE of the items have price tags attached in this store. To check the price you need to check an unattached tag that is inside the bags and wallets. Items without bags don’t even have any kind of tags on them. Went I bend to check the wallet and do the math in my phone for the discount to verify the price. The lady in charged to greed the costumers, stand right behind me very VERY CLOSE; looking at me to make sure I didn’t steal the item. I put the tag back inside the wallet and I asked her if any of the items had the tags displaying on them. She said no, I decided to leave because I never felt so uncomfortable in a store where someone was breathing behind my back to check every move I made. I didn’t wanted to spend more time to check on the products because it was very uncomfortable being follow, and the fact that I needed to go inside the items to check the price make it worse.
I was moving a lot in the store because I had a stroller; out of consideration and kindness I wanted to move out of the way of other costumers to allow them to see the products, while I was waiting for a reply.
I didn’t wanted to be in the way, but I also didn’t wanted to be followed around. I understand is their jobs, but I wish this behavior would have taken place before they heard my broken English.
I went to this store because it has been recommended to me, but I guess experience speaks more than words.
Attached is the photo I sent to my aunt and in a circle is the product I looked at while I was...
Read moreHORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I was surprised to encounter racial profiling at this Coach store. When I entered the store, I was not acknowledged at all. After about after 15 minutes of browsing and MAKING EYE CONTACT WITH TWO SALES PEOPLE and receive unwanted looks from them; I was only approached when one of them saw that I had something in hand to purchase and was asked “was the extended strap within the purse”, because they work off commission. The entire time I was in the store I was not greeted, nor asked to be assisted, etc. But there were other white people in the store that the sales people were interacting with. Upon check out, the clerk asked for my card and the verify my signature, when I notice that the other customers in front of me were not asked that. After calling the store back to ask for the Manager to complain, I found out the black lady that asked about the strap was the manager. Her excuse was that they were short staffed. There were three checkout clerks and two (including herself) working the floor with about 4/5 people shopping. As a Manager working the sales floor – you should be setting the standard for excellent service for your staff. This is happening more too often to people and it needs to stop. Because I was dressed casual and maybe didn’t look as rich as some others may have, I felt I was treated differently! I don’t care how I’m dressed – there should be no reason why people should not be treated with respect and dignity. My purchase was just shy of $300, and I am so disgusted every time I think or look at the items I purchased, that I have decided to return them. I REFUSE to give my money to a retailer that does not value me as a customer, when it extremely simple to say Hi, how are you, can I help you find...
Read moreMy wife and I went to the store to have her favorite handbag sent out for repair. This was her first coach bag and the sentimental value definitely outweighs the value of the bag itself. Erin in the showroom was amazing and explained so much to Kim while I worked with Corey the store manager to get my repair order completed. Corey went above and beyond what was required to get this repair completed. Everyone that works at the facility was honest and very helpful with any decisions. If they felt that something didn’t compliment us they were honest and suggested that we look at something else. This is the service you should expect at a high end retail shop. I feel like other high end retail stores could learn a lot from the training all of these Coach employees have received! Thank you all! You have earned our...
