Goodwill - Plymouth — Local services in Plymouth

For the most part all of my Goodwill experiences have been fantastic, but when you come to Plymouth you experience unique store policies enacted by Sue or Chris the managers that say you cannot donate at the counter, this happened to me several times and they are enacting their own policy which is different from corporate policy and if there's eight to 10 cars in line to donate in the back I'd just as soon bring it in the front and donate there like I can at Minnetonka or any other store without being given a hard time, on one occasion sue the so-called manager was so condescending, rude and dismissive when asked if I could just have the donation dropped off there, lame how they choose to make their own policy and alienate long-term customers, I donate multiple times a week as my kids are always outgoing clothes and I just hated the way I felt after leaving upon last interaction, the useful staff at the front desk seem like they are inexperienced and between a rock and a hard place with managers policies that are foolish and...

What an experience coming to this Goodwill, to me it was more like a store cause the prices were high, don't get me wrong you had some good things but I always like to go into Goodwill and get things for under 3 dollars... Well I just got off the train in the south and had boots with holes was just trying to get some shoes, well I talked to management and being a prior Army disabled vet tried to get a discount for these boots. Unfortunately the man couldn't find it in his heart to help a veteran right after veterans day. It's cool, just a little hurtful, I'll get over it only because this angel Paula saved the day. Her kindness and knowledge help me, for her only I am not making this a one star. To know that there are people who care about a veteran in the cold made my trip. This location was awesome when it first opened! Now the prices on most/many items can be found at target & the dollar store for CHEAPER!! I drive a little further to different locations now. They get 2 stars because the employees are very polite and friendly Ps. They have a 50% off “winter sale” going on right now, but don’t even bother with the scam! The sign says 50% off ALL boots, scarves, turtle neck sweaters, jackets AND OUTERWEAR!! Yet, most of the items won’t be included in this so called “sale” they will tell you your items aren’t included because they’re “light-weight jacket” or a “light weight scarf” or “fashion boots” .... I even was told that a heavy turtle neck sweater (which should be included in the %50off sale) wasn’t included because it was a “spring sweater”....... pffff this...
