Potbelly — Restaurant in Plymouth

I would love to give a shout out to whoever the manager on duty was tonight (Thursday, April 25th, around 7:00pm)! I wish I would've gotten his name. Tall guy, seems like he could very well even be the general manager. I place my order online tonight, got the confirmation details and also a notification that my card had been charged. Once I got to the shop, they did not have my order. I made sure I was in the right spot, and made sure it wasn't an error on my end. It was not, so he double checked it himself, and said he would take care of it for me. He explained they had been having technical issues lately with online orders. They started it up right away and had it done within 5 minutes. All employees handled it 100% correctly. I would just especially like to thank the manager for his professionalism and friendliness. I am a general manager myself, so I know how frustrating it can be when the error wasn't your fault, but it's your job to but a smile on and fix it anyway. I truly appreciate this, it's hard to find now a days! Keep up the great work. Oh yeah and my food was delicious...

Ordered online and picked up the food to take home. Got home and noticed the ordered was all messed up. Both sandwiches were missing the cheese and one of the shakes was the wrong flavor. I understand the employees are young and might have low attention spans, but they need to be more careful when making the orders. It’s really not that hard. It was as my first time ordering from this shop, but it was a bad first impression.

8/21/19 UPDATE: I thought I'd take a chance again with these guys and guess what? Yup, I ordered online and when I got the order home, one of the sandwiches was missing. I drove back and when I told them, low & behold, they found the sandwich just sitting on the counter. Hard to believe that no one thought to look at the sandwich to see if it got missed on someone's order. My advice to anyone who's picking up food from them is to check your order before you leave, because for me, I've had problems with both my orders. We payed WAY too much for a mediocre dinner - just another “Subway” meal for 2 and 1/2 times the price. On my original sandwich, they barely put enough hummus on there to call it two mashed chickpeas. The avocado I paid extra to be there - WHAT creamy yellow-green mash???? Still can’t find it. And the cheese that was on the original sandwich, well, let’s just say that was lacking too. SO, with all that satiating fat absent from the party, I ended up with an overpriced, dissatisfying, disappointing sandwich. And my boyfriend - he ordered the $5 bowl of chili I’m ashamed to say we paid for. 😔 And cheese was extra. Oh my. Not worth the wait. Wait.
