What an experience...Ok, so I purchased two watches that weren't from Kay, and side note: as an adult woman I still have gold bracelets that fit from when I was 6yrs. old! Needless to say, some links needed to be removed. I called this store beforehand and they told me they'd be able to do one of the watches, and the other would need to be seen (in case they didn't have the necessary tools). Once I got there, one of the associates, Elke was able to fix one of the watches no problem. As I waited briefly another associate by the name of Ashley (I think? maybe her name was Autumn) let me see some of the rings, and was super helpful with all the pieces I asked about. Elke returned and told me she wasn't able to do the other herself, explaining she didn't want to risk damaging the one she wasn't able to fix (rather than giving it a shot). She was thorough and transparent the whole way through. She also said I could come back in an hour or so when the individual who was more of the watch person would be in. I unfortunately couldn't wait and ended up going to Adam’s Jewelry a few miles down. BIG MISTAKE. HUGE. BAD.... the man there wasn't able to fix my brand-new watch, and in fact lost the screws for the links it originally came with, returned the watch to me twice with the screws falling out, and by the third time around - and nearly an hour later - I wanted my watch back. It was, I kid you not, LITERALLY a tug of war as I pulled my watch out of his hands and he pulled back insisting he could do it. I returned to Kay, and explained what happened. They listened attentively, and fortunately by this time there was a woman named Autumn (I think? it may be Ashley) who was able to fix it. She removed the dodgy screws the other guy put in just in case, and adjusted the band to my ridiculously sized wrists. As a small bonus Elke went and cleaned my wedding ring and band. Ashley, Autumn, and Elke showed such professionalism, honesty and thoughtfulness after what I just experienced. I really can’t thank them enough. What a great group of people working at Kay Jewelers! If you're ever in the area and looking for jewelry, this should be your first stop. The customer service and expertise...
Read moreI was in the store because it was the last day of October. I have to have my wedding and engagement rings checked every April and October in order to maintain the warranty on my rings.
As always, my experience in Kay Jewelers (the Tannersville, PA., store in particular) was top notch. There were two sales people who worked with each other to help me complete my transaction. I know these women from previous visits to the store. While one representative cleaned my rings, checked the stones, and took pictures of my rings, the other entered everything in the computer. They both agreed that my rings could benefit from a Rhodium dip. I made the decision to leave them in the store, so I will have sparkling, beautiful rings for the holidays.
I received an email with the pictures of my rings, as I pulled in my driveway last night. I particularly love that they do this...To me it says, "Here is your jewelry, we've checked it, and it's fine..." Or, "It's been sent out for the Rhodium dip, and will be back on or before November 13."
Kay Jewelers in Tannersville, has been wonderful to me and my husband. When the the rings were new, I misjudged the size of my finger and had to send my rings back three times before I finally got it right!
This is the third time I've done the Rhodium dip and I'm so excited! I know that my rings will look brand new and beautiful! Over the years, I've developed a trusting relationship with Kay Jewelers in Tannersville, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for...
Read moreI've been to 5 different Kay Jewlers. 4 of them are in the lehigh valley. They were all, good nothing bad to say about them. However Kay outlets in the crossings, top tier experience. Not only was I greeted with a friendly smile and treated very kindly. Not only was I well informed in the decisions and choices I was making with the jewelry I was picking. I was helped immensely in pricing. I only spoke with Robert and Selena and truly is ALL I needed to do. They were extremely helpful really nice and it wasn't about a sale with them. They helped me purchase 2 items I was already planning on buying at another location and because they know what they are doing I got it much cheaper at their location. I'm also currently looking at a specific watch piece and this location is selling at a higher price then a previous location. They encouraged me go back and check to make sure it was the same price and same sku. They didn't pressure me to buy the one they have. So it made even more comfortable doing business with them. I will be coming to them for future purchase and would recommend that anyone who is looking to buy something from ANY Kay jewelers to come here and speak with...
