Penn Jersey Truck Stop — Local services in Pohatcong Township

I went here on 3/22 at 4pm and the guys in the store, which are great, asked me why when I get fuel, I dont det a free drink with the fuel fill up. I returned on 3/27 @10pm and got fuel and grabbed a free drink but was asked by attendant if I was getting fuel. I didn't think too much because there was another truck getting fuel. I returned last night 4/01 and the attendant was outside smoking and seen me drive in and pull into the fuel island. He walked into the store and I got fuel then went inside to use the restroom and grabbed a free drink. He asked me if I was getting fuel but with an attitude. I stopped and said you seen me pull in and I'm the only truck getting fuel. Now your basically accusing me of stealing a drink because this is the second time that you asked me this but now you have an aattitude. He said that he has to ask. I said you seen me pull into the gas station and stop at the fuel pump. Sadly I dont think that I'll be returning here because I dont like to be accused of stealing. I let it go the first time but he has a personal issue with me. So avoid getting into a problem I will be getting fuel elsewhere. had an extremely disappointing experience at this gas station. The customer service was not only rude but downright disrespectful. As soon as I pulled in, I was met with hostility simply for parking without immediately getting gas. I tried to explain that I just needed a few minutes, but the staff was aggressive and dismissive, insisting that I leave if I wasn’t buying fuel right away. There was no sense of understanding or courtesy, and their tone made it very clear that customers are not valued unless they’re spending money on the spot. I’ve never encountered such an unwelcoming atmosphere at a gas station before. It felt less like a place of business and more like I was being monitored and treated like a problem for simply stopping for a moment. If you’re looking for a place with basic respect and decent service, I strongly suggest avoiding this location. Only place in NJ I will stop at. Let’s start with friendly, EVERYONE that works here is absolutely great, super friendly, always courteous and funny. Then we will go to cleanliness, this place is spotless, not just the bathrooms, but the store, the pumps, even the parking lot, add in they have DEF at the pump and take any fuel card, plus every time you fill up they give you a free beverage, talk about customer service and relations, they remember me every time i come here usually in the area 1 time a month or so and yet they still remember me. Parking is straight back, they do charge $20.00 for parking, unless you get fuel, and it’s in a great location, restaurants within walking distance if you want a sit down, or they have a good selection of sandwiches and snacks, so what’s not to like about this place ? I can’t think of anything!!! I always stop here when in the area for fuel and sometimes to park if out of hours, definitely better than those...
