Wawa — Restaurant in Pohatcong Township

My fiance and I were just here getting dinner for our family and we understand it was busy but the young lady Christie that was helping us gave us a ton of attitude when we told her that she forgot our side of mac and cheese after we got the mac and cheese we realized she forgot yet another item, one of our sandwiches. We tried getting her attention but she ignored us and eventually listened. She was currently making the missing sandwich and gave us attitude about what was on it. She eventually gave it to us and slammed it on the counter. One of her coworkers had told her to make sure she checks the orders before sending it out because another customer had an item missing after we ordered. That same coworker even said infront of everyone she was three orders behind and it was only getting busier. I feel bad for whoever was after us. Thank you Christe for making my wawa experience one to remember. Side not the mac and cheese your forgot and after your correct might have been low or you just choose to give me just cheese. The people at this store saved my butt when I left my wallet behind after stopping in to buy a sandwich in a hurry. The next morning, I turned my house upside down thinking I had misplaced it or the kids had "hidden" it. I called in to the store and not only do they answer the line (I called twice and they answered both times), they had set my wallet aside in a safe place. They handled the situation perfectly, making sure the wallet was actually mine before telling me they had it or handing it over. When I got it back, I found everything was there and intact. Kudos to these fine people!! Figuring out how to replace the various ID's and certifications I need for work which I keep in this wallet would have been difficult and a major pain. This is the cross roads of “Trash America “ The floor is always dirty and sticky, the food served is Sub Par Truck Driver Slop . The first thing that hits you as you walk in is the horrific smells of whatever concoction is being made. Then there’s the wonderful selection of plain out unhealthy food snack ready for grabs for those in route no doubt to some NASCAR or Demolition Derby event god knows where over the horizon in PA. The parking lot often plays host to various vagabond types in route to the next pan handle . I suppose WAWA serves a purpose in our society , like where to get lower tier gas and toothless service with a rubbery grin !
