Simply Southern — Local services in Pooler

Like others have mentioned in recent reviews, the staff working today were incredibly unprofessional and rude.

When I asked the woman at the register if I could try on some items, she said the fitting rooms should be unlocked unless someone was using them. At the time, another employee was standing nearby doing nothing—just chatting with her and not helping customers.

I double-checked the fitting rooms, and all of them were locked, even though they were clearly unoccupied. I returned to let her know, and she told a different staff member—who seemed visibly annoyed—to assist me. That staff member walked over at a painfully slow pace, scowling the entire time. She didn’t say a single word, unlocked the door, and then slammed it shut behind me after I walked in. I was so shocked by the hostility that I muttered “worthless”—which my husband witnessed.

When we went to pay afterward, nothing had changed. The original woman was still leaning over the counter chatting instead of working, and the employee who slammed the door was also there—again, just socializing, not helping.

The only bright spot was the younger woman at the register, who was polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff showed no interest in providing decent service and made the shopping experience extremely unpleasant. Based on this and what others have said, it’s clear there’s an ongoing issue with rude, disengaged...

The culture of this store is shocking. Not only are the customers sweet and friendly while YOU shop, but their staff will love on you and help you find the right style and size. I was looking for a dress that would fit my 5 foot 1 pear snapped body and yall! Sienna made me feel like she was my shopping bestie helping me get the cutest dress at the right size for only $10 for any occasion my heart desires. Best store ever. My daughter and I were in heaven. Her grandpa usually will get her some Simply Southern shirts for Christmas so she was so happy to find an actual store while on vacation. We visited it about 5 times while we were in Savannah and adopted about 11 turtles (come to find out on the last visit that there were only 2 turtles available) I wish there was a sign for that because then I wouldn't have gotten so many but the bracelets are super cute and they are for a really good cause.
