River Street Sweets — Restaurant in Pooler

This was the worst experience anyone could have endeavored. Was making a purchase while the entire visit the manager, Wil Jones, was speaking to another customer across the store in conflict. The customer had used her own cup for a drink refill and the manager was angry and charged the customer double, two times, the single cost of a large drink when her cup was not as large as the stores cups. The customer paid the over priced fee while Wil Jones was constantly speaking to her in an ill manner and told her that she has to pay double because she did not use his cups. What? Never should any manager speak to a customer with an audience of other customers in the aggressive manner and tone that he was displaying over a drink. Most unpleasant and unprofessional environment that I have ever had the misfortune to walk into when I was expecting to see smiles and hear laughter from the staff and other customers. Walked into the store around 6:30 11/15 and there were 7 employees total on the floor. 2 we’re leaning over the counter on their phones, not sanitary at all, one was trying to jump roper through his arms or something, and one had his airpods in and couldn’t hear me or another customer trying to get his attention to make a purchase. I walked in actually trying to make a holiday order but decided against that, due to an unsanitary kitchen and lack of customer service. I asked to speak to a manager and she apologized but instead of walking to the front of the store to talk to the employees, she walked straight to the back office again and continued about her business. Oh my gosh, I am in love with this place.. SWEETS!!! FUDGE, CHOCOLATE, I’m in heaven. Lol. Needless I like River Street Sweets!!!! Free samples of fudge and oh so many different flavors to.. The staff was great, friendly helpful nice and engaged in conversation with us when we were in the store.. Yes a tad bit on the expensive side for so many delicious sweets but oh so good and I’d say possibly worth the price for sure..
