I wasn’t in a rush for anything so I was fine with the slower, relaxed bar service— the only thing that irritated me was at the end of my stay/ I didn’t want to order the 6 churro dessert, so the bar said she’d be able to charge me for one. I’m thinking that- “that’s fantastic and now I won’t have to worry about food waste.” When I looked at what she charged me, my mood definitely soured. She charged me about 4.50 for 1 churro when the original sale of 6 churros is only 7 dollar with some change. So over half the price of the Churro Dessert for 1 churro. 😐 Definitely wouldn’t recommend asking for “À la carte” items without checking the price to make sure it’s fair. On my end, I just decided to pay and take it out of the tip but I know other people, regardless; would rather “À la carte” be priced accordingly without the extra inflation, so wanted to share for other customers. Instead of tipping about 25% of my bill ($10 tip), I decided to tip only 23% ($7 tip), because of this. Would return for a bar beverage/ atmosphere and the same simple meal I got, but not much after that. Staff under Manger’s management are kind but loungely attentive, (except the kitchen, they actually run the meals out to the guest and prefer to set the plates down in front of you which is super touching and a great attraction for a restaurant because it shows the Chefs really care about what they’re representing so A+ for them) so yeah; more training on “À la carte” items would be fair and appropriate attention per guest would do wonders, especially if you as a server aren’t even running your own entrees. Thanks for reading. And for anyone wondering what I ordered? I got the Cheese Dip which was flavored well but was runny and a Mushroom Quesadilla which was actually great and a Generous portion. Beverage was the Texas Margarita and Dessert was a Single Churro. 🌸

I cannot recommend dining at this establishment. While the restaurant features beautiful decor and our waitress was very kind, we felt distinctly isolated from the rest of the patrons. Upon entering, the restaurant was relatively empty, as it had just opened for the day. However, we were escorted to a table in the back, passing by numerous unoccupied tables along the way. Initially, we thought this arrangement might be related to how they were assigning tables to waitstaff. However, as the lunch crowd arrived and no one was seated near us, it became clear that we were being placed in a less favorable area. I have included a video for reference that illustrates the situation, showing that we were indeed seated at the back with no guests around us. Additionally, the manager made eye contact with us several times but did not engage in conversation or even say hello or welcome or anything. I am sharing this feedback to inform others who may be considering where to spend their money.

We've been waiting for them to open. We watched them build the place. Months and months, and it was worth the wait. The place is spacious inside, and I love the decor. The food was amazing! I got the Chimi Rica. They packed it full of meat. I got the brisket. It was very flavorful. It comes with a "salad" lettuce, pico, guac, sour cream, and lettuce. The flour wrap was steamed perfectly. My husband got the chicken fajitas. It comes out on a sizzling plate with the veggies. A illt seasoning in the veggies would be good, they were a little bland, but the chicken had great flavoring. It came with either flour or corn tortillas. He got the corn ones. We also got the Maduros Con Cheese Dip. I love plantains and wasn't let down with the flavor at all. They were fried perfectly. A little bit of crisp on the outside and so soft on the inside. We will most certainly be back.

La Parrilla Team,

I hope this review helps out the management of La Parrilla. I would like to share my recent experience at the restaurant, which sadly did not meet my expectations, especially since we were there to celebrate a family member's birthday.

To start with, the service was quite lacking. Our waiter seemed inexperienced, leading to delays in providing us with our order in sequence. We ended up receiving our main courses before even getting our appetizer plates, despite several reminders.

It was also concerning to witness a staff member from the kitchen walk into the bathroom wearing the same gloves they had on while walking out the kitchen (La Cocina). This raises serious hygiene concerns that should be addressed promptly.

Adding to our disappointment, a woman who appeared to be an assistant manager was extremely rude when we attempted to discuss our issues. Our party of five received incorrect and less than satisfactory orders - our chicken enchiladas were wrong, the chimichanga was bland and flavorless, and the chicken fajitas were overcooked.

When I voiced my concerns, the assistant manager only asked if we needed anything before walking away, which felt dismissive, her exact words were “Do you need anything else before I walk off?’”. I did manage to speak with the main manager, who seemed genuinely concerned but did not return to check on us throughout the meal.

Given this experience, this was our first and last visit to La Parrilla restaurant. I hope they take this feedback seriously as a catalyst for improving both your service and...

Went on Cinco de Mayo. It was very busy. The atmosphere was lively and festive. I was with a party of 7 and we were looking forward to having a great time. With the crowd, we had a reasonable wait time and were seated at a booth with a chair added at the end. Seating was cramped and uncomfortable. Our waiter Chase was nice and as attentive as he could be with the given crowd. We were immediately told that they only had house margaritas or beer available. Most of my party ordered margaritas and they were decent. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and for the most part was correct. There was an item that was added that we didn’t order. And there was an item we ordered that was missing. Chase was able to get us the missing item and the extra item was taken back. When arriving we were given the option of separating our checks and we opted to do so. Upon receiving our checks, EVERYONE’s check was incorrect. We told him which items were incorrect. He assured us he would make the corrections. He then collected our cards and proceeded to charge them as is without making corrections. Everyone in my party just opted to proceed with the loss and get out of there. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food wasn’t bad. I was really uncomfortable with the cramped seating, didn’t like restricted alcohol availability and was a bit upset that I was charged for items I didn’t order or eat. I won’t eat here again but for those who might, I would encourage you to come with a small party and put everything...
