
Ed, Pat, and Mike all did a great job. Ed helped us look through the unit we were looking at and helped us work through the sales process and make it simple.Pat did a thorough walk through when we went to pick it up. Pat was very helpful with some tips and tricks when using the trailer. Mike did our paper work and was very helpful when I found a mistake and we were able to correct it the next day. On the day of the pickup, Ed and the service crew helped us out with the hitch when they probably didn't have to and that was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience and recommended.

Unfortunately, I will be changing my review. We did have a good experience with the staff but this edit is to talk about the âthorough processâ that is used to inspect the used trailers. The week we were planning to take our first trip in our ânew to usâ camper, I found mold in the carpet, which leads me to believe it was not shampooed like we were told it was. I know mold is an issue with camping since the camper stays closed most of the time. So, I talked to my wife and we decided to remove the carpet so it would not be a crumb catcher for our three children. After removing the carpet, I found the floor of the slide had water damage and it was rotting away, thus causing the mold in the trailer. I found the water was getting in through the lower seam in the slide. I could not put my family in the camper and spend the weekend in it with mold and a disintegrating slide floor that my children would be sleeping on. Now I have a lawn ornament that I cannot use because the âthorough processâ for inspecting the trailer seems to not be that thorough. I contacted the team at the Newport News Camping World and they stated there is not much they can do about the issues we are having with the camper. Needless to say, I am not happy and very frustrated with this situation. If I could return the trailer I would, now I must spend even more money to get the slide floor fixed before I can use the camper because there is no way I can use it in its current state.    Read moreWe went to Camping World in Newport News on July 4th, 2024. We were immediately greeting and our sales person, Lars was prepared to show us 9 campers all with what we asked for. They offer you cold bottle of water to bring with you as you tour different campers. It was HOT and the campers are not hooked up, Advice, definitely take the bottle of water with you. We were extremely happy with all he showed us and how he did not try to sell us something we didn't want. At one point, I asked to see a camper and he said sure but it has bunks, and you don't want those. Lars is very friendly, knowledgeable and we appreciated his attention to detail. After deciding we still wanted to know more about the first camper we saw (the one we had seen on the website) we met with Jake to talk numbers. He also was super friendly and worked with us as we had a number we wanted to stay close to in order to make the sale work for us. It was truly that smooth of a process, we were pleasantly surprised for sure! We were able to get an appt at 9a the next day to finish the paperwork and do the walk thru. Again, we were immediately greeted and Q took us on a tour of our new camper all hooked up. He was also friendly and thorough and answered all our questions. Once he was done, we went to meet with Chandler who went over the coverages, perks and went through all the necessary paperwork for us to take our camper home that day. We were very pleased at how quickly the process went and impressed that they were able to add the exterior/interior protection we opted for right then instead of us having to come back another day. We have already started sharing our A+ experience with our fellow camping friends and will continue to recommend these great people. We look forward to our first camping adventure and as suggested by their maintenance team rep, Jennifer, we will take notes on any questions or quirks that we may have and take it in for service.    Read moreI would not recommend this place to anyone. My family bought a camper here in January 2021 with the understanding a list of items would be fixed that was wrong with a brand new camper. First mistake shouldnât have agreed to buy a product that was defective. But we trusted that they would honor there word and the manufacturerâs word by correcting the defects. We used the camper twice and received a call they had all the parts in and were ready to start work. Here we are two months later and no camper. When we went to pick up the the camper after the first time they said it was done, it was trashed inside and our batteries were dead. They said we are not responsible for the batteries being dead ? Really are you kidding me. Those are brand new batteries. This is not a used a camper this is a BRAND NEW 2021 Camper I would except flaws and issues if it was used but not out of a BRAND NEW one. The manger at the store said it wasnât his problem that the repairs werenât done to our expectations. That an attempt was made. Come on now this is ridiculous if it was something you were paying for and you just bought I guarantee you would have the same outlook as we do. We are making payments on something we canât use, we have canceled trips because we donât have our camper and paying for storage for a camper we donât have. The person who was suppose to be working on the camper was gone for weeks the camper sat there. No one else was able to work on it? Nope I guess not. Corporate gives us the run around, the store gives us the run around no one want to take responsibility for issues and no one wants to own up to the problems. Poor customer service, bad attitude, and here we are sitting wondering what to do and where to go. Voices being unheard and not being helped.
