Salesperson did a good job of finding us a loveseat in stock that would suit our needs. It was shipped in the time they stated. That’s all that went right. When we went to pick up the loveseat, I was directed to the loading dock by a different salesperson, who promptly turned away without any further instructions. Upon arriving at the dock, another person met us with a clipboard and asked for a signature after pointing at a shrink wrapped sofa. No instructions as to what we were to do, no offer to help load, nothing. We (my wife & I) loaded the sofa into our pickup, and the salesperson just closed the dock and disappeared. Once we arrived home, we unwrapped the sofa and carried it into our home. Upon positioning the sofa, it wouldn’t set level. After turning the sofa over we found one of the adjustable feet was missing. We called the store to ask for a replacement, and was told that we would have to call customer service since we had already taken possession of the sofa. Upon calling customer service, we were told that since the missing component wasn’t noted upon the inspection at the time of pickup, we would have to pay for the missing part. We were not even told to do the inspection, nor did the dock person mention it when we were asked for the signature. Granted the screw-in foot is probably just a few dollar item, but I just spent nearly $2500 for a sofa and expect a little follow-up. LazyBoy gets a “D” in customer service on this one. Read moreWe ordered our furniture at the end of May and when we were told that it would be October before we would receive it we were going to go somewhere else but were promised that it wouldn't really be that long and we were assured it would be worth the wait so we proceeded with orur order. We got rid of our old furniture in preparation for a October or earlier delivery and when my wife called in September she was told that it would now be November and if we want the couch we could pay in full for the entire order and we were not comfortable doing that and said we would pay for just the sofa and was told can't do that so November rolls around and I called before Thanksgiving since we now don't have furniture in our living room and I was told that now it's going to be January before we get our furniture but yet again was told if we will pay in full for the entire order we can get the couch that is in the warehouse and I said no I want the couch now but will not pay a dime more since Lazy boy has had my $1527.00 since May and I have nothing to show for it. They agreed the next day to deliver our couch the fallowing week as I had requested so we had no furniture for Thanksgiving. First time we went 5 years ago was an amazing experience work with a great sales men Chris. Went in this time Chris was busy and got this other girl Helen. I should of trusted my gut from the beginning when I didn’t have a positive feeling about her..... instead the friends I was with said be nice give her a chance. That was a mistake, not only did she not have answers to my simple questions she couldn’t find me in there computer. Kept wanting to put her hands on my back and steer me in a direction, was extremely pushy. I finally got fed up and tired of it and left. Came back 2 hrs later and Chris was available and I made a be line for him. While he and I were walking to the set I wanted information on she cut us of and saw I was now with Chris and she made a loud and rude sigh and remark and walked away. I’m not a cupcake, just because you “licked” it first by talking to me doesn’t promise you the sale. So with in 4 mins no joke of talking to Chris I had all my questions answered and he found me in the computer and all my stuff.
