Mobile Music Unlimited — Local services in Port Angeles

I purchased a Rockford Fosgate Harley kit and install, from the mobile music booth/tent at the Oyster run in Anacortes on Sunday 9/22/2024. I was told at that time. I would be texted a receipt. The port Angeles store would call me to set up an appointment to get it installed. I waited to hear from them until Friday 9/27/2024. I called them this morning to inquire about my $2,300 purchase. The actual store manager was told nothing. Given NO, zero, zip zilch information regarding me, my information or any other details. Only “A guy in Port Orchard bought this”. After several calls back and forth. Johnathon. The store manager became very unprofessional and hung up on me several times. They weren’t willing to keep the deal/agreement that was made at the sales booth at the event where I made the purchase. They weren’t willing to work with me in any way. I live 1 hour and 40 minutes away from their closest store. So things had to be just right. They weren’t willing to work with me at all. Now I am fighting with them for a refund. Again. Johnathon, the store manager. Like a child hangs up on me several times. I just want a refund so I can be done with this childish, immature, and unprofessional business. I’ll update my review when I finally do get my refund. I strongly suggest if you’re going to business with mobile music. I hope they do better in store. Showed up for an interlock appointment my gf had. It was a few days passed the date that it was supposed to be taken out on paper. We asked if they had the ability to call to see if it was time to take it out, So we didn’t have to make a return trip back in the following day or week if not though, no big deal. After 15 minutes of waiting guy in the back comes out and says hey yeah you’re good to go, we can take it out. 2 weeks later letter in the mail her license suspended stating interlock needs to be put back in also you’re now mandated to go back to alcohol classes. Confront one of the same 2 guys that okayed it and he starts claiming oh you need a letter and that’s not our responsibility you should have called. Why would did you claim we could take it out ?. Then states we can put it back in for something to the tune of 400 dollars. I wouldn’t give this place a red cent, I would actually like to proceed with legal actions at some...

I drive a Ford F350 XLT, that means it was likely a "work truck" in it's first life...not too well laid out with creature comforts. Picked up an in dash Alpine Nav unit that fir right in where the old radio/CD player fit. Now we know where we are going!

I also run an Escort Passport radar detector, kinda like knowing what;s ahead of me. However, Alpine uses some wild radio frequencies that match a Ka radar and so it sets off the detector. Kinda defeats the purpose right?

Came back in twice in one morning. They moved the antenna farther away and eventually put in 4 layers of aluminum backed foil to atennuate the signal strength. Worked like a champ!!
