TLDR; YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS PLACE I promise you wonāt regret it!!
Ok, Iām going to preface this with the fact that Iām a hardcore thrifter. Iāve been thrifting for decades in multiple states, both for personal items and resale items. This is, hands down, MY FAVORITE THRIFT STORE OF ALL TIME š
Let me tell you why:
Owner is helpful, friendly, and very charming.
Cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Itās not huge like Goodwill or Value Village and doesnāt have harsh fluorescent lighting so itās not overwhelming. Thatās a really big deal for those with sensory issues.
Great use of space. Iām told they just expanded so the second room is new! Everything is spaced appropriately, which can be a real challenge sometimes. The displays are just full enough to be interesting but not enough to be suffocating or overflowing. The walkways felt nice and wide, and my social anxiety was not set off by multiple people coming into the store at once.
Kindness and care are evident throughout. Like I said above, itās not a huge warehouse store and they donāt have a million items. However, the items they do have seem to be selected with care. Each item is cute, whimsical, eccentric, or unique in some way. Additionally, many of the price tags have handwritten notes with comments. This didnāt have the feel of pawing through someoneās trash like a lot of corporate stores. It was almost as though each item was held, seen, and loved before going out in the store and itās something I never thought about until today, but it made me strangely happy. šš„¹š„°
Low prices. Itās hard to give a price range because there were so many different things in there, all with different worth, but prices were more than reasonable. If youāre used to shopping at the corporate thrift stores, youāre gonna be really happy here and save money.
Lastly, I just wanna talk about the overall vibe. Ok this is gonna sound so random, I donāt even know how to describe it, youāll have to actually like⦠go in there to see what Iām talking about, but this was just⦠such a safe and soothing place?? Walking through that door is like a HUG for your SOUL, Iām serious.
So yeah⦠im really glad to have found this place. Will definitely be back. Iām including some pics of the cool stuff I...

This created an unpleasant customer experience where i picked up something that I ostensibly think is priced at one price and then get confused, disappointed, and frustrated at check out when it isn't that price.
EDIT 9/24/24: the owner has since tracked me down on Instagram to explain their pricing methods and apologize for the confusion. They were not their stickers.
Until I return I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they'll no longer have product with bad pricing out on the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery well appointed and chock full of super cute, quirky, and cool vintage items for cheap! If you are a true thrifter, you will feel like you have died and gone to Thrift Store Heaven! They have the sweetest staff and crew and there is always a good vibe. I love Thrift Star and donate my best stuff to them, and I always find useful and funky treasures there. One criticism: their prices are set so low that if you see something you like and don't buy it right then and there, you can guarantee it will have been snatched up when you return. Also, extra points for the fact that they donate 15% of proceeds to local charities. I LOVE...
