Can't say enough good stuff about the quality folks and service I get at Ace Hardware in Port Aransas (aka: Coastal Hardware LLC). Easy access and fast friendly service - always. They have a well stocked departments in paint, plumbing, electrical, hardware, automotive, power tools, housewares, outdoor equipment, and sporting goods. I do enjoy just browsing the store, especially the fishing equipment and supplies and all the doodads around the cash register area. They know what works in a coastal environment and are good a sharing what they know. Believe they are open 8a to 5p seven days a week. Last... that sign on the entry door window has saved me some steps. Check em out when you can....

They had what I needed. A couple of springs for $1.39 each plus tax. I could have paid with a credit card but I thought for a small purchase I would do the small business owner a favor and pay cash. I handed the middle aged cashier a ten dollar bill and a penny for the $3.01 purchase. She handed me 2 one dollar bills. I said "Didn't I give you a ten?" Wonderful store with exceptional employees!! I believe the paint counter guy, Matt or Mike, helped me look for a mosquito repellent that hangs up! Unfortunately, the store didn’t have any in stock (bc everyone down here in TX knows these repellents actually work!) so this nice, caring and professional gentleman ordered it online and the store had it in two days!! Excellent customer service!! Will definitely buy everything I need in the future here instead of Amazon, Harbor...
