Espresso Gelato — Restaurant in Port Aransas

It was a bit busy when we arrived, but what do you expect from a gelato shop in the middle of summer?!? Hats off to the staff, though bc they were all very sweet and truly efficient, and we got our orders very quickly. The inside of the shop is cool and clean. I ordered a grasshopper and O-M-G(!) this is the best thing I have ever had, seriously!!! I have had many different dessert shop versions/variations of a grasshopper and they don’t even come close!!! The espresso counter-balanced the sweetness perfectly. For those not interested in a grasshopper, there are many other options for coffee, both hot and cold, sweet drinks such as smoothies, and so many gelato options to choose from....

This place is so wholesome. It’s my first time having gelato, and i love coffee so it’s a great mix of the two in the end. They had live music playing, the couple both had amazing voices. The gelato is so good, which by the way they managed to capture the flavor of ‘ocean water’ it’s amazing (gelato flavor) this place deserves great reviews, thanks to their great service and menu. They have plentiful seating, and a lounge with loads of authentic sea themed art for sale. The owners definitely know what they’re doing with this place. Service was the reason for one star (3pm 3/19/25). One employee was more interested in sampling gelato for herself or staring at customers coming in than helping people at her counter. Gelato was good. Family mentioned last summer (7/24) how when they were here employees told people they were closing in 30 minutes and needed to leave instead of serving them. The young man (brownish blonde hair)who came over was very helpful. The young lady with fake eyelashes needs to find somewhere...
