I had the worst experience at Candy Store today. My young daughter accidentally bumped into a shelf, and a small glass broke. While it was an accident, the items were clearly unstable due to the poor display setup, which made it much easier for things to fall. My husband immediately stepped in to clean up the glass and asked the employee for a broom, but she just looked at him like he was an idiot, offering no help whatsoever. Instead of being understanding, the employee was incredibly rude and accusatory over a $12 item. Not only did they demand we pay for the broken glass, but when we politely tried to explain that it was an accident, she asked us to leave! It was honestly shocking how badly we were treated. They still insisted we pay for something that wasn’t fully our fault. I will never be returning, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The customer service is terrible, and the display setup is unsafe. My children...
Read moreWent here with my family this summer before we left. Let's say it really bummed me and my best friend on the drive home. One, signs said $10 per pound, sounds like a great deal right? We got chocolate and it was $14 per HALF POUND. That isn't even the worst part. I got freeze dried marshmallows and fudge. The marshmallows? Literally just stale, no crunch or melty texture. And the fudge? Tasted store bought and not the good kind. Tasted like plastic and sugar. The only good thing there, and this man sound petty, was the tongue painter sucker. It didn't even paint my tongue. There's another candy store just across the street, go there....

The price per pound on signs around the store were apparently for a half pound, I guess I didn't see the fine print! The receipt says $30.28 per pound for chocolate and $21.63 per pound for regular candy. Wasted $20.00 on candy that smelled and tasted like the fancy plastic bags they provide. Lesson learned! Going back to the locally owned candy store where we normally go! Never going in this overpriced smelly franchise...
