I have been to this location a few times before and the food was quite good. Now tonight I placed an order for curbside pickup as I am a disabled veteran and I have difficulty walking. I arrived at the curbside pickup area and dialed the number as instructed. I noticed another vehicle had already arrived to the other curbside spot next to me. I was on the phone listening to an advertisement informing me of all of the benefits of curbside pickup. Then ring... ring... ring... Repeat message... Over and over again. After about ten minutes, I finally decided to go in and check. Of course, my food had been sitting on a shelf for quite some time along with another order. At the take out desk, I heard the familiar ring ring ring I had heard for the past 15 minutes now and finally someone asked me if I had take out. I got my food and walked out the door. I spoke to the gentleman next to me and asked if they had answered yet. He of course said no. I informed him his order was most likely on the shelf. He went inside and before I left the parking lot, he was returning with his food to his vehicle.
Now having enjoyed the food in the past, I tried to let this pass and looked forward to enjoying my meal at home with my wife. I live less than 2 minutes away from the restaurant and there are zero traffic lights. When I opened our food, both meals were cold, my breakfast meal was... I don't even know how to describe it. Besides being cold and my order specifically mentioning to not add tomatoes (tomato allergy), I found an inidentifiable mass of food in a sauce, tomatoes and with what I believe were dried bacon or sausage pieces, but I couldn't honestly tell from the flavor. All in all, the meal was worthless as the few pieces I thought I might be able to eat ended up being contaminated by the tomatoes and it made me physically ill. I tried to be understanding of the current COVID situation and lack of trained personnel and available staff, but I should not have to expect a meal that was completely inedible to either myself or my wife and pay roughly $35 for the pleasure of throwing it out myself, instead of what the cooks should have done before serving it. I am only sorry I didn't take any pictures before tossing it, as honestly I just could not believe this could have happened.
If you eat here, eat inside so you can see your order but I suggest you not get ANY...
Read moreI wasn’t going to do this review. I saw the good reviews and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and understand that they were slammed for Thanksgiving, therefore, not at their best, however the problem rolled on to the next day leaving me no choice but to assume that there really is a problem here. I came in to do a to go order for Thanksgiving. First of all the hostess completely skipped me. She helped two families that came in after me before I worked up the nerve to say anything to correct the situation. Then she said they weren’t doing carry out orders, so I said “what am I supposed to do? Do a dine in order and ask for a to go box immediately or what?” and then she goes “yeah, I guess” and then proceeded to skip me again and seat another family. I asked for the manager who was extremely confused as to why she said they weren’t doing carry out and brought me to the counter to place my order. Unfortunately I made the mistake of leaving my debit card there. When I couldn’t find it the next morning I spent THIRTY MINUTES calling the restaurant trying to get ahold of someone to see if my card was there. It was 10:30am, they were open. I then called corporate to see if they could maybe get ahold of their restaurant, which I never received a cal back from. I called at 7:23pm where the same girl from last night told me there was a card there (wouldn’t check and confirm if it was mine til I asked for a manager) and that she “suggested” that I come in in the morning because they were about to close... they close at 8. That left an entire 40 minutes for me to come get my card. Does she tell customers that want to order food this? I was going to let the card sit there another night but I really wanted to see if it was the same girl and it was. I don’t know what the deal is but I’m not coming back and...
Read moreOrdered Door Dash a week ago. My husband got the beef pot roast 3 course dinner which came with chili and apple pie for desert. He loved the pot roast that came with mashed potatoes and gravy. The chili was delicious! I ended up stealing a few bites and wishing I had gotten one for myself. Neither of us have ever had chili with sausage before and were a little skeptical at first but we both absolutely loved it to the point if it hadn’t been so late my husband would have driven over to grab another for lunch the next day. The only recommendation is to put the onions and cheese on the side. I probably could have asked that but wasn’t thinking. I loved all the fresh onion and cheese but my husband likes very little of each and they are quite generous with both. But he still loved it. The apple pie was great!! We shared it later. I got the steak tips with Mac and Chesse and loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious. We had both chosen the option for dinner rolls but apparently they ran out. Whoever packed the order wrote us a nice note and said they were so sorry but they ran out and gave us banana nut bread in place of it. I got to try one bite before my husband had it as a midnight snack. It was also really good and I normally do not like banana nut bread. We have always had a great experience at this location. The food is always great. The service is always quick and easy and the employees always are so nice and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this...
