This book store is a welcoming place for readers and writers. I have found it so pleasant I can't even imagine the experiences two other reviewers described happening here. I suppose it did, but not my experience at all. The staff have been uniformly kind, thoughtful, and eager to share their love of reading and writing with me. The workshops and author readings are an amazing thing to have in this small town. I can't say enough good things about this place, and my hat is off to the owner, Anna, for having created it. Yes I had a 2 year old that needed a nap and yes I had to chase her down the street to retrieve an umbrella she took from the store. But we returned it unharmed and were desperately trying to check out with the last few gifts on our list and go home for a nap when we were told that they wouldn't sell to us and we had to leave the store. We bought there previously a very nice children’s book “The bad mood and the stick” which still is well loved in our household and today we came back, again pleasantly surprised by the great selection of books - lot of choice but not overwhelming. We picked the children’s book “Books make good friends” which is deffinitely another awesome addition to our home library. Truly love this bookstore and their selection. Hope to come back...
