The customer service was lacking. From the moment I walked in the door, I was treated as if I didn’t belong there. No greeting, no questions of what brought me in. I asked for the shoe I was looking for and sat down. The young girl came back and handed me the box. Personally if I want that kind of service I’ll go to Dicks Sporting goods down the road. They sell the same shoe at the same price. There I won’t be Judged, I’ll still be handed the box, and sometimes even have a coupon. After trying on the shoe and deciding it fits, I went to pay. Same girl that didn’t provide any actual customer service wants to ring me up. Nope. I waited for another associate. Also just because I’m not a size zero walking into a running shop, doesn’t mean I’m lost. Actually I have severe arthritis in my entire spine. That requires me to wear high end very supportive shoes. I came to the store looking for a pair of daily running shoes as I am in the middle of marathon training and wanted to start breaking in another pair. Ian was SO HELPFUL and PATIENT with me. He listened to my needs, past experiences, and concerns so attentively and brought out a handful of options he thought would be a good fit. He even went back multiple times to check on colors for me and never made it feel like an inconvenience (which is how I felt lol). Ultimately I went with a new brand of shoe and Ian assured me, if it didn't work out, I could exchange them within 30 days. Well a couple weeks later they still were not jiving and I was concerned because I had already recycled the box. It was no problem at all! Ian was there all kind and helpful and I exchanged them for a brand I already had experience with.
