Premier Rental-Purchase — Local services in Portage

I absolutely love this place. We had excellent customer service from the second my husband and I walked in. Dan was very honest answering all of our questions. We needed a new washer, dryer, and refrigerator. Dan helped us pick the right appliances that fit our budget. He did not try to sell us the most expensive appliances. We told him what we were looking for and he found us the perfect stuff. We got a great deal and I love that they have several different payment options to fit any budget. The application process was super quick, we walked out same day with all 3 appliances ordered on Saturday and on Monday morning they called me to let me know they were on their way. The delivery guys were super friendly and very respectful of my home. They brought everything in and put it in place. It's made very clear upon signing your contract that they do not hook up your washer or dryer. Well my husband was going to be out of town that whole week, so the guys offered to walk me through the hook up process so I wouldn't have to wait for my husband to do it. They stayed until it was running properly. I was so grateful for that because I really wanted to use my new appliances right away.They even offered to help me clean up and they put my door back on the hinges that I had removed before they even arrived. They showed me how everything worked and showed me all the settings, etc...Later that day my refrigerator alarm was beeping and would NOT turn off. I called them up and within 30 minutes they were back at my house ready to assist. All he had to do was unplug the refrigerator and plug it back in to reset it. I felt so dumb, but he assured me it was no big deal and even tried to make me feel better by saying the fridge was too heavy for me to pull it out to unplug it myself. 🙈 I am so happy we decided to buy from Premier instead of their competitor. Also, the other places we went to would only allow you to get two appliances and after making your payments on time for 90 days, then you can apply for a third appliance. At Premier, getting all three at once was no problem at all. I don't know if they have a specific limit because we just needed the 3, but it wasn't an issue. We got a Maytag Top loader XL washer, Maytag XL dryer, and a GE stainless steel double door fridge with the drawer freezer on the bottom. Life and laundry pile up at an alarming rate when you are faced with a double whammy. The washer stops spinning leaving you with a tub full of cloths dead in the water. The dryer caught wind and began squealing in pain when forced to move, begging for Paw to fetch his shotgun. I'm currently "paid my bills" broke. I'm over it. Word of mouth led me to Premier in Portage. The first person that I encountered was Ted. Super pleasant!!! He had delightful conversation that made paperwork and business similar to chatting with your neighbor on a sunny day. The overall atmosphere is created by the fellas that work there. Everyone of them delightful whether you are there renting or conveniently calling in to make a payment. Many of us don't have a savings and have bad credit. This can leave us in a nasty, under your arm pinch when big things give out. Premier is truly a blessing for someone like me. Now I can rewash those few folded cloths of my 16 year old daughters that keep ending up in the dirty cloths. I say all that to say I got what I need easily and with no hiccups. Everyone at Premier continues to be helpful, knowledgeable and stand-up people. I highly recommend them over any rent to own place based on my over all experience and my experience at other stores...

In 2012 I stumbled upon Premier while at work. I figured just another rent-to-own place but I was dead wrong! I found a Howard Miller grandfather clock that i fell in love with and was just looking at knowing how expensive they are I knew it would never fit into my budget. Ted, the owner looked over a few things and made it affordable to where it did fit in my budget with ease. They treated me with great respect not like a criminal like others, wanting to know your great aunts name twice removed from the side of your family that you have never met! Since 2012 I have developed a relationship with Premier knowing; 1, im getting a great price (less than if you paid with a credit card from big box) 2, The products would be the same products that the Owner of the store would buy for his own home 3, The product i am buying is covered under warranty (and honored unless of neglect of course) 4, The terms are set in stone where this item will be paid off years before it wears out. 5, Im going to have a great customer service experience and treated with respect. Simply put if you buy from anywhere else than Premier, consider yourself warned! I now bought brand new freezer and now getting a new washer and dryer! So why go anywhere else when you have a business willing to bend over...
