Smoothie King — Restaurant in Portage

I’ve been coming to this store for lunch 2-3 times per week since they opened, therefore, I spend a lot of money here, not anymore. During that time, I’ve let stuff slide over and over and over again. At this point, I’m tired of waisting my money at this joke of a location. From being greeted and told to have a nice day only occasionally; to them never being able to have consistency with the same popular smoothie I always order. I would just not waste my time or money. It appears that the main trait to being hired at this location is incompetence. Most employees can’t handle the volume at peak times, and it also appears they just toss stuff in the vitamix, regardless of the required amount. I’m sure Smoothie King will reply to this review, saying they are always trying to improve, but it’s a lost cause, as I have already tried once before to vent my frustrations directly to them. This place is really hit or miss depending on who's working there at the time. I always order through the app, sometimes it's ready when I arrive 10 minutes later. Other days I stand there waiting for 30 minutes as the worker very slowly makes the smoothies. One of their newer hires in particular just takes her time. Right now I'm in the store waiting as I type this review, 6 of us are standing and waiting for our smoothies. And she's just taking her sweet time. I've been here for about 5 minutes and none of us has been given anything. It's insane. I'm gonna be late for an appointment. Went in with my 9 year old daughter who equated smoothie to ice cream. She was sadly mistaken. She asked some questions about flavors and was treated with respect, but in the end she wanted ice cream.

I decided to get a smoothie so as to not waste the young ladies time. I picked a peanut butter smoothie. I picked a medium. She asked if I wanted chocolate. Well duh...

So she put it in the magic mixing machine and in a minute she rang me up. $10 and change.

Nope. $10 for a medium smoothie. It was decent... but there was a protein mix in it that made it a little chemically tasting. I don't think...
