⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had such a great time at Mexico Lindo, and I want to take a moment to share our full experience because everything from the food to the drinks to the service really stood out.
I ordered the Pollo Special, and it came out hot, juicy, and full of flavor. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and the portion size was very generous—it felt like a complete meal that was both hearty and satisfying. It came with sides that balanced the plate perfectly, and I appreciated the attention to detail in how everything was presented. My fiancée went with the tacos al pastor, and she couldn’t stop talking about how good they were. The meat had that perfect mix of smoky and slightly sweet flavors, and the toppings were fresh, colorful, and added the right amount of crunch and brightness. You can tell they put a lot of care into making them authentic.
We started the meal with their cheese dip, and honestly, I could have eaten that by itself all night. It was creamy, perfectly melted, and not overly salty like some places. It paired great with the chips, which were warm and crisp—one of those appetizers you keep going back to without realizing you’ve almost finished the bowl.
For drinks, I tried the strawberry margarita. It had just the right balance of sweet and tart, and the tequila didn’t overpower the fruit flavor, which is exactly what I like in a margarita. My fiancée ordered the paloma, and that drink was a standout too—refreshing, citrusy, and crisp. Both drinks were well-made and tasted like they used fresh ingredients instead of mixes, which makes a huge difference.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to make sure we had everything we needed without hovering or making us feel rushed. You could tell they really cared about making sure we had a good experience. The place has a nice balance of being casual enough to relax in, but also cozy and welcoming enough that it feels special when you sit down for a meal.
Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a while. The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the service was top-notch. If you’re looking for a place with authentic flavors, generous portions, and a friendly atmosphere, I definitely recommend Mexico Lindo. We’ll absolutely be back to try more of the menu, but for now, the Pollo Special, tacos al pastor, cheese dip, margarita, and paloma all get five...
Read moreI stopped by on Taco Tuesday (8/31/2021) to give the restaurant a shot since I had tried a few Mexican restaurants in the area and all had good items that really stood out individually. Mexico Lindo’s menu looks tasty but lacks vegetarian options; even as simple as veggie tacos. Other places in the area offer at least this so I was a bit disappointed. Instead, I purchased a cheese quesadilla ($2.75) rice and beans ($2.75 x 2), and 3 tacos: pork, shrimp, and steak. The 20-something year old, female cashier rings me up for $28 and some change. Confused, I said something to her and she seemed flustered and confused herself. She went to ask someone to validate and then the total came down to $21.82. Still puzzled, I asked her to break down the cost and she said the quesadilla was charged as a meal with rice and beans for $6. This still sounded incorrect because that meant at least $12 went to 3 small tacos. At that point, she seemed annoyed but really no clue as to what she was doing. I zero’d out the tip because half of the bill should not have been charged and she told me to have a nice day. I stood off to the side because at that point, I still did not receive my order. She then says, “oh, here’s your food”. I get the food and go to the car. Shocked at how much I paid and the portion size, I called the restaurant to ask if they had a special for Taco Tuesday. She replied “hold on, let me check” and proceeds to go outside where I can her with the restaurant phone and looks at the sidewalk board menu. She says it’s $1.95 for chicken, beef, and pork which meant that I was overcharged for 1 taco and much more for the bill overall. I really thought this place would be nice to try because it has a decent amount of good reviews, but I would not recommend this place to anyone because they seem to be confused about what prices to charge. Other places in the area never charge this much for food; let alone overcharge customers. I asked for a receipt and it was not...
Read moreWe have been coming here for years and the food is always great! Every dish is wonderful. Kudos to the kitchen & Chef! The drinks are okay but sometimes not great. The service has always been very good.
Recently, we came in and ordered two rounds of margaritas, appetizers and two dinners priced almost 20. each. (This is the highest priced Mexican restaurant. Usually $10-12. at other mexican restaurants.) We were oddly served with a single spice ramekin filled with salsa. I thought it was not the normal size of any salsa dish and maybe the dishwasher was behind. Of course we ran out of salsa halfway through the chips and needed more, when we asked for a salsa and the Server said "we have to charge now" I was seriously taken back. We just spent $75 on dinner and drinks and you want to charge us for salsa. Really? What's next ice for the drinks? Note to the owner, Please do not nickle and dime your customers who keep your business afloat. Not smart when there are so many other mexican restaurants.
Well... we tried it again... Ordered for two. Lunch tacos, I asked what are the choices they said "any of the meats" so I selected two meats for two tacos. But then told we can only have one meat" That does not read on the menu therefore, that would be a BAIT AND SWITCH. Owner please stop, it's a sprinkle of meat on your tiny tacos. We were coming twice a week now maybe once a month.
With all the disappointment, As I went into the restroom there was no toilet...
