Interesting items, but poor customer service. Today we spent a few hours' layover at the Portland airport today. Generally it has been a good visit, with good customer service from Security & the Tillamook restaurant. We did have a negative experience at the Calliope store. My 13 year old daughter, who is generally a very responsible/straight A student, picked up a small item to examine it and accidentally dropped it when putting it back into the bowl, with it hitting the floor. One of the employees, an older lady wearing a yellow shirt, immediately & loudly embarrassed her, using a sing song voice to say "you broke it, you buy it!" My daughter was very embarrassed and burst into tears. We 100% support taking responsibility in paying for it, but there was no need for the rudeness nor to embarrass her in front of the whole store. I expressed this sentiment to another employee whose response was "okkkk." After leaving the store and examining the item, it looks cheaply made, with no visible evidence of adhesive to hold...

I was sad to find they don’t have an online store, so I gave them a call and they were absolutely amazing, going above and beyond, helping me replace the mugs and shipping them to me. 10/10! Upon return to the airport after my trip I attempted to exchange or get a refund for my item but I was told there were no returns or exchanges. So you have no recourse if they sell you a product that doesn’t work....
