Tonight while trying to pick up my new pup we were waiting in a very mellow pick up area. Soon a woman came with very short hair and a green streak in it. She started yelling for us to move. I explained the situation and said there weren’t people waiting. She said move or get a ticket. I had my mother in the car who can walk and wanted to be part of the joy of getting my pup (because I can’t have children so this is a HUGE deal). I was then told that if she can drive she can walk and if she can’t walk she shouldn’t be driving. I told them they were ableist and I wanted her name and badge number. She would not give it to me. When I took pictures of her she told me that if I took a picture of her she would give the car (which had now left) a ticket. That is an abuse of power. At one point we complained that they don’t need to blow their whistles. After my mother missed the arrival of my pup the woman walks by and blows her whistle softly in a tune as she strolls by. She is a very angry woman and in the wrong profession. I will be lodging a formal complaint against her and her colleague in the morning. Her behavior should not be tolerated. I AM FED UP! THIS AIRPORT pick up is beyond sick.
