Nahcotta — Local services in Portsmouth

As much as I love what the store has to offer, I don't really appreciate how the workers made me feel the couple of times I've frequented the store. I have been asked multiple times if they can hold my items that I'm holding in my hands debating whether or not to purchase in one visit (even after I've declined twice ) - and I noticed that I'm the only person they asked. I would like to give the benefit of the doubt as maybe they think they were being helpful, but after the second time I've said no, come on!!

I feel like much like the other stores in the area, it is targeted service. I don't know if it's internal bias, but it's 2023 and I'm kind of sick and tired of feeling like...

As an artist and art lover, this place has it ALL. I absolutely loved the huge pen section of so many fun colors and ink types. They have a little notepad left out to try all the pens. Nahcotta is also a bit of an art gallery and as a potter, I loved all the ceramic pieces. If you are a ring girlie, their ring selection is beyond gorgeous. I especially loved all the stickers and greeting cards and had a nice little pipstick collection. My girlfriends and I were out for a mid-week girls day in February and the perfect time to be in Portsmouth. We all loved this placed! I chatted with the lady working (forget her name), but she was so sweet! I could totally spend all...

I enjoyed my experience at Nahcotta. It was a wonderful place with a plethora of pieces. I did not end up purchasing anything but the staff was great. Especially Maddy

Maddy helped me peak my interest in art that I didn’t know I had. We glimpsed at some pieces I wouldn’t have noticed if it wasn’t for her, so sweet of her.

She was polite. Efficient. And her smile lit up the room. She knew the gallery well. I even delayed my dinner date to continue our conversation about the ETA wall.
