Im going to start off by saying, the delivery of the message is everything. As everyone knows hobby lobby has normally had 90% off jan 1st in the past. Everyone gets excited and up early to fill a cart with some very good deals. Today jan 1, 2025 the prattville location was no differnet a line out the door waiting to enter 10 min before they opened. The store opened at 9 and to everyones suprise the signs said 70% off. Everyone was confused so naturally everyone had questions as to what the sale price is. I witness the manager tell 3 people i quote"i dont care what your phone says or what you think its 70% off and hobby lobby isnt responsible for what you think". I was mad that he said that to the little old lady as well as my mother i spoke up he then became smart with me! The sale is the sale so 70% off is what it is, that wasnt the problem the problem was how this man chose to deliver the message that it was 70 not 90! I am so mad and in disbelief at how this man co ducted himself I DONT CARE IF HOBBY LOBBY GIVES CHRISTMAS STUFF AWAY I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT STORE AGAIN. HOBBY LOBBY NEEDS TO BETTER TRAIN MANAGERS FOR SURE. SO I SAY ALL THAT TO SAY IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET talked to crazy beacuse you have a question atick to michaels. His attitude was terrible and let me add he would snap at people then go back to whistling like he had no care in the world like he was proud he just spoke to people like that. I also want to add the clients are mostly women so to witness a man in authority talk to women like that was sexist and disgusting! I cant only imagine how he treats him female employees. All i can say he better be counting his blessings none of those 20 womens husbands were with them and him talking...

Negative note: However, upon entering the store what looked to be management (another lady) was coming back in and we crossed paths while in the store, she did not greet us let alone acknowledge us, but she made sure when we made it to the register she was standing by the exit door with her hands crossed like someone came in to steal something. Then as we paid for our stuff and we're leaving she stared with a straight face, she didn't say have a good day, come again or anything. Thank goodness, I was raised to treat people the way I want to be treated. So I told her to have a nice day. Side Note: All customers should be treated with the same respect, equality, and professionalism regardless of color or ethnicity background. Being biased won't help anything or choosing what customers you want to deal with and speak to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came into the store with a problem. I broke my back in a bad car accident and had ordered a coat of arms and family heritage framed for the neurosurgeon that āput me back togetherā. The coat of arms came and the frame was broken! The frame was SO flimsy so I knew I would have to reframe it. I was to see the surgeon today (Tuesday) and this was Saturday. I went to the Prattville store and to make a long story shorter Evelyn helped me. Evelyn made me feel like the only customer in the building! Evelyn re-centered, cut and reframed the coat of arms with such skill and such kindness the entire time. Evelyn is such a blessing to this store! Evelyn is obviously skilled and has a heart of gold. I wanted to cry when she was finished! I no longer had a problem. I DEFINITELY...
