I am in town for work, and after having a bad experience here a couple months ago, I decided to give it one more try because the menu looks promising. I will not be giving this restaurant a third chance. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The service and food were both terrible. The tables are too close together, so you're bumping the person behind you as you're trying to get in and out of your seat (the first time I came, i was in a booth, which was more comfortable). Our server greeted us quickly and asked for our drink order. Since we hadn't had time to look at the menu yet, we asked to start with waters. After 10 minutes, we finally got our waters and placed our drink and appetizer orders (I got a salty dog, my bf got a beer flight, and we ordered the Buffalo chicken dip appetizer). Our server completely vanished for 30 minutes after that. When she finally emerged from the bathroom area, she had her phone in her hand, staring down at it and messing around on it for another 10 minutes before seeing that our drinks were sitting at the bar and grabbing them and bringing them to us (in her defense, it did take the bartender about 30 minutes to make our 2 simple drinks). We were finally able to place our entree orders at this time. It still took another 10 minutes from that time to bring us our appetizer, which was inedible-- the dip was dry and chewy, and the tortilla chips were stale. We didn't see our server again for another 20 minutes, as we waited for our entrees. I saw them place my chicken Caesar salad in the food window, under the heat lamp, where it sat for 20 minutes, while my boyfriend's pizza was still being cooked. After the pizza made it to the window, they both sat there for another 10 minutes, untouched. By the time our server brought us our food, my salad was served in a warm bowl with warm, wilted lettuce and dry, room temperature chicken. I was so hungry at this point, so I ate most of it anyway. My boyfriend said his pizza was okay. Another point of frustration is that multiple servers saw our food sitting in the window (the kitchen staff put our order ticket with it to show it was completed) and saw us sitting at the table looking around the restaurant for our server. Not one single person thought to grab the food to bring to us or come to our table and ask if we needed anything. I feel like our experience wouldn't have been nearly as bad, had there been a little bit of a teamwork mentality. The bartender knew our drinks had been sitting there for 10 minutes without being delivered, and she didn't feel compelled to call for our server or ask another server to drop them off to us. I have never asked for something to be taken off of my bill, but after waiting an hour and a half to two hours to eat a wilted salad, I decided I wasn't going to just pay for an appetizer that was inedible. I asked for our appetizer to be removed, and the server said she didn't even question it because she could see how dry the dip was (then why serve it to the table?). I do not recommend this...

She was very much informed about the menu options. My friend had the chicken parm and a side salad and I ordered a mushroom cheese burger. We started off with the pretzel sticks with cheese. They were not the best pretzels but they were not the worse. We ordered our food. My friend’s salad came out and it looked good. You could see the kitchen from where we were sitting. I saw them put my burger up on the counter under the lamps .. it was sitting there waiting on my friends chicken parm to come out. I ordered my burger medium rare. The waitress assured me that they make your burger any way you want. When I got my burger the meat was smaller then the bun.. The burger was dry and the waffle fries were not cooked well and cold. I sent the fries back and they brought me another basket. The second basket of fries were hot but still not fried well. I took a bite into the burger and it was dry and tasted like cardboard. I got up and approached the open kitchen window and told them to forget my order. The “General Manager” told me he was going to redo my meal. I told him never mind. I returned to my seat and he yell across to me and said “ I did not hear what you said” I told him I lost my appetite because ordering lunch should not be that hard. It did not bother me that the food was awful.. They just opened. What got me going is that there were maybe 2-3 tables in the place.. How hard is it to make a burger. I will not go back for one reason. The big bad “General Manager” has no clue what hospitality is. He did not come to our table to apologize. He copped me an attitude and he made me feel like it was my fault their food sucked. He was rude and totally unprofessional. 🤨.. They need to replace him or that place won’t last a though the winter. It’s a shame because it could be a fun place to hang out and have a drink and a bite and enjoy your friends. Unfortunately the General Manager will stop people from coming in and the kitchen staff need to be trained to put out quality food. Now a days if you are paying good money to eat out you want it to be good food. The Goat is far from representing their name...
Read moreWent for our 1st time with some friends who had been there before. Our friends had a good experience on their 1st visit & recommended this place to us. It wasn’t super busy on a Tuesday night but it still took awhile before the server came to greet us. Placed our drink orders & took over 20 minutes to get a bottle beer that we retrieved ourselves. Finally placed our order only to have half of our food come out cold & the bacon wasn’t even cooked on my husband's burger. Sent food back & was told by the server they would talk to the manager about discounting our food. Bill came with no discount & included up charges that the server didn’t mention nor did the menu state as such. Paid the bill only to be told the charge didn’t go through even though we showed it had on our app. Server went to manager who told them to run our card again. Manager never came to our table to speak with us about any of the issues we had. On our way out we stopped to speak to the manager who said the server never told them of any issues yet she knew we sent food back to be recooked because she mentioned the uncooked back before we even said anything about it. Manger didn’t seem to really care at all & just keep blaming the server. The sever said this was their 1st week & obviously it was their 1st server job. The server could have used more training. Both the server & manager were full of excuses & blame on others instead of taking responsibility. We were even told to come back on the weekend when their best kitchen staff was working & they would have 4 bartenders on staff. It shouldn’t matter what night you visit this restaurant to have good service & hot food. Even sent an email to the account listed on their website but haven’t got a reply & at this point I don’t expect to. Very disappointed in how we were treated &the lack of responsibility on their part. None of of the 4 of us will be going back to even give them a 2nd chance. Guess I should have listened to all the reviews I had read...
