Outstanding customer service from Timothy Jackson on 7 September 2023 and from Edward on 8 September 2023. As one of the many Spectrum TV customers that have been victimized by Disney pulling ESPN programming at the start of college football season, I went in to the Prattville office of Spectrum yesterday, 7 September, to seek help in finding an acceptable solution. Timothy Jackson displayed great patience and knowledge in helping me increase my internet speed to better handle streaming services to replace the cable and recommendations for which equipment and streaming service would be best suited to my needs. He then adjusted my account and even found me a bundle option I was unaware of to decrease my overall cost. At my request, Timothy left the final ticket open to cancel my Spectrum TV service until I was sure that the streaming service worked as I wanted, then I could turn in the cable boxes and cancel the Spectrum TV, further reducing my cost. When I returned this morning to complete the action, Timothy was already busy with other customers so Edward quickly and efficiently handled the completion of my request. In addition to the good technical quality and solution that now restores my television options, I was especially impressed by the friendly, patient, and personal attention that both Timothy and Edward showed me on both visits. It was obvious from the customer traffic in the store yesterday and today that they are being inundated with service change requests and equipment turn-ins, probably caused by Disney's unwarranted actions. Service is sketchy at Best even though they claim to be on the Verizon network!Spent time in the store trying to get my phone working again after no service for over 7 days and purchasing a new one..Was able to have the device on and working for 2 days before it stops receiving or making calls.. and this is a BRAND NEW PHONE! Customer service with Spectrum is awful when dealing with the company over the phone or online.Inside the store is much better but same results..They Charge for mobile service even though you can't make or receive calls since March 30!!!!. Trying to return a device (limited timeframe 14 days) is a obstacle course even when it's their fault!!!!Now I'm waiting 72 hours just to get a shipping label so I can return a device... Read moreCame in to the store without a reservation to transfer a line and was met by Timothy Jackson. First and foremost, Timothy greeted us like we knew each other. He listened to what we wanted to do and invited us back to his computer to see if he could help. He spent 20 minutes searching for ways he could do what we wanted, but was unable to complete the transaction in the store. Timothy was very apologetic since he couldn't help us and gave us very detailed instructions to use when we called in to the Spectrum Customer Service Line....(that's a whole other review and, spoiler alert, it's far from five stars).
All in all, Timothy created a positive experience in the store even though he wasn't able to assist us. This is the second great store experience I have had this year....I sense a trend.
Hopefully Timothy will get some recognition for his outstanding customer...
