We were introduced to Joe, Vivian and the Global Interiors team by friends of ours who had worked with them on their townhome. Before meeting them, we were skeptical! My husband and I have bold personalities with very specific tastes and we knew we had a clear vision of what we wanted our next home. From our perspective, we were not necessarily hiring interior designers but rather we thought we were looking for project managers with a good eye towards design. We knew that we wanted a space that had played with color, patterns and textures. We wanted each room to tell a story and be bold while also remaining warm and inviting. What we quickly learned in our first few meetings with Joe & Vivian was that we were not only getting wonderful project managers, but truly great designers who pushed us and collaborated with us to go outside the box in order to achieve results well beyond our initial vision. All while staying within budget! And the added bonus is we gained incredible new friends in the process. We believe the only truly successful partnership is one founded in transparency, reliability, and trust. Team Global more than delivered on all fronts. Vivian and Joe were referred to me by a mutual friend when I knew I needed to refurbish my apartment—it had been over fifteen years since any serious work had been done. The focus was the kitchen and flooring. Vivian and Joe were gracious in letting me limit what would be done since I wanted to preserve the “look” of much of the apartment. I knew I wanted a brighter and more functional kitchen and that my flooring needed to completely replaced. They came up with a design that seemed to intuit what I wanted without my being able to communicate it very effectively. The end result is something I am very proud to have and which is a pleasure to cook and dine in. The flooring is very attractive and gets great compliments from all visitors. During these difficult times, my husband and I thank Vivian Hung and Joe Giamerese every day for the extraordinary transformation they have made of our home. Joe’s talent for color, spacing, textures and materials has turned our once dark rooms into light filled spaces we love to spend time in. From our redesigned bedroom to our living room and our work spaces, Joe’s design choices make us feel we have bought a new home! And yet it was done frugally with great attention to detail and our personal taste.
