Alright. Let me tell you why I would give this place a whole 10/5 if I could!
I had a procedure very early in the morning so I was fasting since the night before. I'm a Type 1 Diabetic so things can hypothetically get scary if I get sick. I was in Lawrenceville with my brother and I Googled places to get a bagel after since I traditionally enjoy a bagel with whomever takes me. He saw this store and he's like, "THAT'S WHERE WE'RE GOING" so I was like, you sound excited so I'm sure I'll be happy.
Up until I got there and ordered, I felt FINE. I was only feeling pain from the procedure. So we ordered and sat right outside the store. I hold a little quarter of one of the bagels and suddenly, I get so sick to my stomach and my body freaked out. I almost threw up and couldn't get up to go anywhere because I know I would have definitely hurt myself somehow. Then, I started getting worse and eventually LAID DOWN on the pavement. It was embarrassing and painful. Then, I felt better. An employee came outside to ask me if I needed help but I was feeling okay by the time so we thanked him and told them I was alright. My brother is a doctor so he helped me get up veeeery slowly to prevent a severe drop in blood pressure. I got up and eventually sat in the chair.
As soon as I am seated, I completely lose the ability to breathe. I'm gasping for air and cannot speak and this is the first time this ever happened to me. It was as if I had an upper airway obstruction. It is SCARY, if you've never felt this. Another customer came out and eventually called for help after asking my brother if he should. The ambulance came and I hadn't noticed until my brother told me, but an employee came out and gave us two cold bottles of water and a Vitamin Water without us even asking and without charging us. He just came in and out like a little angel (and I truly believe in angels!).
For this reason, I am going to take a drive down to get a bagel from here again, even if it's a drive!
We got a cannoli bagel with s'mores cream cheese and then a cheddar bacon bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese.
I couldn't eat because I was busy trying to figure out what was going on, but about 10 after ordering the food and 20 hours of no food, I FINALLY got to eat my half for each and I'm so disappointed I didn't get to eat them earlier because I would have definitely bought more and gained ten pounds this week!!
I don't know the names of the individuals who came out to make me feel even more safe, more cared for, and more surrounded by love, but you guys are so great and I'm grateful for your kindness—on top of your absolutely bangin' bagels! 💕

Me and my coworkers do go in often so he felt really bad about the whole situation. It made the experience a little better. I just hope it doesn’t happen again.
Original review: I work a few stores down and I waisted my entire break waiting for one panini…. And they messed up my order. I called and was put on hold, was on hold for 7 minutes so I hung up and tried calling back but it said the line was busy (probably from my previous call) I go in to order a CaliClub Panini and everything seems fine and they know I work in the shopping center since I told them when I checked out. 15 minutes goes by and I still don’t have my panini. There were 3 people standing around just talking and one person actually making the orders. Final after another 7 minutes my food is ready but now I only have 2 minutes to even eat it. (This is why I tried calling first to order ahead but that obviously didn’t work out) So I run back to work to finally eat and my sandwich is wrong and missing ingredients. I called to say something and the guy said that the ingredients missing (avocado) aren’t part of that sandwich when it says it on their menu and on their website. I’m going back and forth and finally someone else (I’m assuming a boss of this guy) says there is supposed to be avocado and that next time I come in they’ll give it to me for free. But now I have no time to eat a sandwich I don’t even want because everything possible that could have gone bad happened. Although the food is great, I’m sad to say I won’t be coming back. I’ll be telling all my coworkers about this...
Read moreI walked in the door and can only describe the aromatic wave of bagels, eggs, and bacon as a religious experience. I calmed myself, with great effort, and approached the counter to order. Waiting there was a friendly young female employee. I asked her what on the menu was particularly good that day. She looked me dead in the eye and said “There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.” She turned away and left me to ponder her words. She returned with an everything bagel, toasted, with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, bacon, and a hash brown. After one bite I realized this was no ordinary breakfast sandwich. This was ambrosia straight from Mount Olympus. My mortal form could barely tolerate the experience, but I remembered the employee's words of wisdom and finished the sandwich. I then experienced a Highlander-style quickening. There can be only one. I grew by 3 inches, sprouted an additional 25% body hair coverage, developed political and philanthropic ambitions, and decided to adopt a dog from the pound. Fulfilled, I walked to the door. As I opened it to leave, the employee said "Hey kid, you might need this." She threw me a glazed donut encrusted with M&M's and filled with canoli cream. "For when you're ready." Bagel Nook made me the best version of myself. Bagel Nook is...
