My son had a order from a customer for a painting that we needed a special size canvas for. We went into the store and had the cashier order the canvases for us. We bought at few things in store, as well as paid upfront for the canvases and were told the canvases would be in store within 2-2.5 weeks and they would call once the canvases were in. We waited a little over 3 weeks and called, as we had not heard anything. The person whom answered the phone seemed confused and asked if we recieved any of our purchase, which I said yes, all but the canvases. We were put on hold for some time and then someone else came on the phone and said there was an issue with delivery and it would be about 2-2.5 weeks before the canvases came in. My son and I feel when we were in store and paid for the canvases that they forgot to order them and they used the excuse of a "issue with delivery". If it was an issue with delivery, why were we never notified? My son had to deeply discount the custom order for the customer due to not having it done in a timely manner, due to not getting the canvases when we were told we would have them and my son lost a lot of money on the deal and has possibly lost out on future orders from that customer. We will now be looking elsewhere for future special...

After running all around (mid-Pandemic) looking for 100% cotton watercolor paper (when inspiration strikes, am I right?) and not finding it at my big box stores I stumbled upon Jerry's Artarama after a quick google search. I've never heard of the store before but after seeing the reviews I decided to give it a whirl. I punched it into my GPS and drove the hour and ten minutes to RI. The selection is way better, the prices are so unbeatable, you can snag anyone and ask them a question and they're so happy and available to help you. I'm blown away. The store has great products, a lot of which I have not seen before. Prices are reasonable and their paint selection is quite large. This was my first visit to Jerry's. I was a bit lost/overwhelmed on where everything was located. I was hoping the staff would offer some assistance or ask some general questions about my visit. The aisles are a bit cramped, and aimlessly searching for something can be a bit awkward. In the end I found what I was looking for, but probably would have spent more time and $$$ if an employee...
