The Forest Park area has been missing a place like Robert's and it honestly felt like home immediately. Robert's is a family owned venue and gathering place. You can feel the warmth immediately. From brightly colored Christmas lights and stockings on the bar to family photos and cozy furniture in the "nook" and even Rolling Stone magazine clippings adorning the bathroom walls, every inch of Robert's brings character that feels like it's been part of our community forever. The crowds (well behaved and of all ages) have tended to be "just right" in that there is a "full house" vibe yet still room to walk around as needed for drinks, the restroom or to say hello to an old friend. Finally, while the friendly and hard working staff may not have been anticipating such large crowds, they hustle hard and have a smile on their face as they serve drinks as fast as they can. The website said that people with ADA requirements can reserve seats by sending an email to Donnie, but that's a lie.
